Went to the FL Keys this weekend (have a few weeks off school)and apparently inadvertently rubbed up against a bunch. My g-ma said they're small and in the rocks and I may not have realized I even touched them.
Took almost 24 hours for the hives to appear. I really had no idea.
Now I have these gnarly ass hives/rash all over my arms and hands...on the back of my leg where my butt cheek starts...even a little on my neck and chin.

So obviously the only logical solution is to promptly begin a sea anemone hate thread.

I've been putting Benadryl cream on it...but it still looks the same and it's been 3 days now.

My dad keeps telling me to pour chlorine on it (fucking redneck) although it might work...sounds painful.

Anyone else ever been stung by the fuckers? Any other suggestions?

Yeah I heard Calomine too...but it really doesn't itch or hurt or anything...just looks gross.

Ouch. It happened to me when I was a boy.
We were in Central America and i remember the pain....and when they took me out of the water that sun hit the stung area on my inner calf and the pain like tripled.
hahaha...which reminds me, i havent looked at that scar in years. Its still there hahaha. it looks like it moved a bit.

Im not sure what they put on it, maybe aloe vera, i really dont remember. sorry.
But google will probably help you with treatments.

Went to the clinic over the weekend.

I had stings AND bites of some kind...several different things going on apparently. Also a secondary allergic reaction to something.

The Doc basically said I got royally fuckeddd up (no lube) and should probably invest in some protective clothing next time. Lol



Going back for Labor day! Cause I'm a baller and idgaf about those triflin' ass anemones or jellyfish or whatever else down there that wants to try and ruin my fun. 🙂

I'm taking Prednisone and shit. All is good. The hives have virtually disappeared...just have a little weird blotchy bruise looking things now

The only place on my body not covered while in the water were my hands and my face...and actually with the mask and shit there was only actually about a 2-inch section of my forehead uncovered.
