Pretty interesting isn't it? Makes a person think before judging someone...and remember, Amateurs built the ark .... Professionals built the Titanic!
ok... for the first question I'd have to say that I wouldn't council her either way, because it really depends on whether or not she wanted to get pregnant again, and if this is so, then she prpobably knows the risks
for the second, I'd go with candidate #1, because #2 sounds lazy and #3 sounds too strict with a lack of a sence of humor
This is something I've seen before and it is indeed interesting. Thanks bella.
As far as the question of whether the person who could have cured cancer is out there in the midst of the forty something million abortions, I don't know if that's really a fair question, because what if the person who could have cured cancer has been miscarried (more miscarriages a year than abortions; they happen all the time, and often in the very early stages of pregnancy so that sometimes a woman won't even know she was indeed pregnant, and thinks she's simply having her menstrual period)? Or what if they were already born, but were abused by their parents and couldn't ever develop their social skills/intelligence enough to pursue the curing of cancer? Or what if the person who could have cured cancer was Hitler, but because of whatever choices/mental disorders he had, he used his power for evil instead?
What if the person who could have cured cancer committed suicide? What if they're already living?
Good thought provokers Pheonix. It seems life can sometimes be a game of chance. Or predestined. P.S. Hitler (before his syphillis took hold) actually did great things economically for the Fatherland. So he did contribute in a positive way (doesn't excuse him I know).
Yes, Hitler is definitely one person I would like to do more research on, just because I've heard a lot of things about him and I wonder if they're true.
Such deep things as, "he was gay", "he was impotent", "he was obsessed with his mother", "he never actually died", etc. lol...I'm only half joking though; there's a lot I would like to learn about him.
interesting.... the first one I couldn't advise except to say what I would do in her case. Of the three, I have something against decorated war heros and would have gone with #2 becasue he seemed liberal which is funny cause I think Churchill was awesome.
I did a project a while back for health class. It was an exercise and we were supposed to use the information on the sheet about different people to diagnose them with schizophrenia/psychotic, etc.
The first was an orphan who lived with her grandparents and started drinking at 14 and was a constant runaway. We said she was a derelict She was Eleanor Roosevelt.
The second one was about a child of 5 years who suffered from menigitus and had a severely large head. We diagnosed him with mental retardation. He was Thomas Jefferson.
The third (my favrite) was diagnosed as schizophrenic, neurotic, and overall insane. In high school (which I don't understand because he never went past the 4th grade) he created his own religion and suffered a nervous brekdown at age 17. He was constantly late to class or skipped, etc. He was Albert Einstein.
