Reiki is amazing..changed my life....i have seen people heal from it when drugs didnt work. I had a woman come to me with a big fibroid, about to go for surgery and she asked me if i could do some sessions on her. After the third, she goes to see her consultant and it had shrunk to the size of a pea. He said that was very unusual and asked her what she had been doing. When she said *Reiki*, he said that he had heard of that before and didn't discount it
I use it every day on myself and family and friends
Keep going for it Moonie xxxx
what size was the fibroid before the reiki sessions?
Over what period of time did you do these 3 sessions?
Was she on any medications or other alternative healing while she was having reiki?
Did the women go ahead with surgery anyway, to remove what was left?
Have you followed up with this woman?
How can either of you be confident it is the reiki sessions that caused the changes?
With so much anecdotal evidence for the effectiveness of reiki, you would think it would be more mainstream and that medical science would at least do some proper research and study on this.
(especially if reiki practitioners are charging a service fee)

I've mildly attempted the paleo diet, but the carbs keep sucking me back in (grains, fruit). I love summer fruit in season!click to expand

Fruit isn't so much th bad guy (I don't eat it, though). It's the grains that are the really bad guys...they ARE hard to stay away from, though! :-)click to expand

Moonie, when you do Reiki 2, you can start practicing on others....children and animals respond so well to it. You will also be able to send distant healing which is amazing (i work with photographs)
I sort of did the distant healing on my dearest friend....because I was in a panic. She had already been in the hospital, and had surgery, twice, and came close to dying both times. I got a text in the middle of the night saying she was in the hospital again, was in pain, had to get off the phone because drs were going to take it away if she didn't stop texting. Now, her and I have always had a connection, so it wasn't hard to send energy her way. The way I did it wasn't completely reiki, either, and I fell asleep with the connection wide open. Woke up the next day with all of her pain, and spent a good part of the day curled up on the couch, miserable. When she called later that day, after getting out of the hospital, she filled me in on what happened, and how the pain all went away, including an infection she had. I asked her if she hurt here, there, etc. (all the places I woke up hurting), and she said yes, then described the feeling of it all, which is what I had taken on. She thought the drs gave her pain meds when she stopped hurting, but later found out that they hadn't. Anyway, she also picks up on stuff I'm feeling, so controlling that connection has been interesting. She's gotten one of my headaches, and I went to a reiki session completely numb and spacey because of her percocet. 😛

I started reiki sessions (and am now training in reiki) in January. I have noticed that the elbow nerve pain, and weak hand grip issues have gone away. More surprising, I have a lupus "rash"...a patch of spotted discolored skin that first showed up 11 yrs ago when I was pregnant with my oldest. NOTHING ever made it go away: not fungal creams (since it's not fungal, but I was desperate), not steroid creams, not lupus meds, not colloidal silver, not essential oils. The rash was there when I started reiki, and I noticed it's now GONE....no trace of it! HUZZAH and hurray! ~does happy dance~ Lupus is on the run! Even more exciting is that lupus is on the run and I haven't been on lupus meds in over a yr! 😄
