anything flat and thin such as a board can work as a strecter in the broken spine and have to move incedents.cold stuff can temperaly relieve itching for rashes and bugbites.splints and tourniqeuts you can make out of anything from a spoon and tape,to a sock.Baths and fluids are good for fever reducing.a tourniquet and not letting the person move around to much(makes venom move through the blood stream quicker)is very important with snake bites until medical attention is involved.cold water for burns.an aloe plant is good to have around it's like a muti reliever for sunburns, burns, rashes, bug bites, dry skin, etc.don't have a clue with chills but know what to do with seisures and diabetes though.

to help with burns. no cold water, will make them blister. seems like a good idea to ease pain, but really causing more harm. blisters after a burn also tend to leave scarrs and are more painful..aloe is used for just about every skin problem, very good to have around, even for insect bites. Although my sister has proved toothpaste to be a help with bites and stings,,I tryed it,,it works,,just apply it,,dont rub in ,,also ice or cool water with help with rashes and hives. If you have benedrale( cant remember the spelling,,lol) helps with rashes and hives, and is a OTC..not very expensive. Splints,,just about anything with a hard structure to it, as stated a spoon even,,and get some sort of wrap, from a strip of clothing to gauze to ace bandage to wrap it in the area needed. Tourniquets, can be made from just about anything,.,,fabric, nylon, socks, string, rubber bands..etc, AS for snake bites..I was reading that sucking the poision out immediatly and not moving..and applyin a tourniquet,,but not 100% sure it was a truth. Wasps and bees and any insect bites, my grandmother and mother always used baking soda. add some wamr water to it,,makea paste and apply and leave sit, it pulls stinger out- they say, and helps with swelling and pain.Fevers and Chills, luke warm bathes..help lower temperatures along with tylenol,if no meds are available, water and rubbing alcohol. Chills. Hot tea and bath as well. chills resort from a fever set in- sittin in a luke warm,,not cold or hot bath helps the tempture,,may cause the chills to get extreme til later,,then you will see a difference, and if stringe enough to walk, moving around might help to work the muscles to aleveate the chills,,always worked for me and my family. The tea, esp Green Tea, has natural ingrediantsa that help fight colds and illnesses, everytime I get sick,,or my kids..Tea is given. And the old Wivestale of chicken soup. it has a knack for helpin as well. you might want to look up online the home remedies for illnesses. theres many natural herbal remedies that I couldnt begin to name, that are helpful. also GNC stores and Nature stores have great stuff.
