On New Year's Eve.

I received a nice text from a friend I've missed... And it made me very happy.

Have any of you reached out to certain special people at this time of the year?

HNY 2015

New Year's does not hold any specific significance to me. Although, upon reflection, I realize that it is a marker for a significant amount of time that I have been blessed to live. I look to the future with optimism and the desire for growth. I will not only aspire to grow, I will take practical steps. One of these steps entails not imposing myself where I am not wanted and learning acceptance and letting go. In other words, if I am reaching out, most likely it is because I am not wanted. 🙂

Nicely said until the part you say if you are reaching out it is most likely you are not wanted, how so? Some people drift apart and then one reaches out and it's all good again...
