I got seven inches off... It's still not that short, about shoulder length... But still, it's an adjustment that will take some getting used to. I actually forced my mother to cut it off, she wasn't going to do it, and I think she cut less than I asked for. It was one of those spur of the moment life altering experiences. I've had the same hair style since I was... Well, since I lost my baby curls, so I guess forever. Except for this one time when I got bangs, which was a total disaster. My hair's too thin for bangs, and I'm to lazy to style them. I like it shorter because it makes my hair look much thicker.

Gosh, I can't think of a hair style I haven't tried. I've had it all lengths except super short or buzzed. Right now I'm trying to grow it all the way down to my lower back. My usual length is a couple inches past the shoulders, which is roughly where it is right now. As for the bangs, I used to have them, but stopped having them because they're way too much maintenence. And I hate hairspray, hate it! And bangs, for me, definitely require hairspray, because I'm not lucky enough to have straigh hair, oh no it's gotta be wavy as hell and thicker than hell. And, it's almost funny how young they make me look, for some reason I look about twelve years old with bangs. lol. This does not help me in life, therefore no bangs for me. 🙂

And the reason I'm trying to grow it so long, is that the shorter it is, the fuller it looks and the more wavy/curly it gets, so my theory is that if all my hair weighs as much as possible, it will eventually be straight. lol. Right? 😛

And morgan, would you like my "baby curls"? lol, I'd be so very happy to give them to you.

Hair is an interesting subject for women, I have definitely noticed that "the grass is always greener on the other side". Especially at my job. A woman will come in and completely freak out about her "straight, lifeless, thin" hair, and then another woman will come in and completely freak out equally as much about her "thick, curly, insane" hair. It's pretty funny. The only thing I actually like about mine is that I can go either way with it, I can make it straight (very difficult though), or I can make it very curly (not difficult at all).

lol, you're right pheonix, women always like other women's hair better. When I was younger, I alway wanted red curly hair. I still think it would be rather nice. The weird thing is I'm not quite sure what color my hair is right now. It's too light to be brown and too dark to be blond, it's in a nether region wich defies definition. I'd definitely trade you for your hair though, I alway wanted to grow my hair really long, but the longer it get's the less body it has, and it's really annoying...

pheonix- longer hair does pull down the curls to straight hair. Only it flattens out the hair on top of your hair which doesn't look so good. My cousin had hair down past her waist-beautiful and straight- but then it caught on fire at a night club and she had to cut off about a foot and now her waves are coming back. I have very wavy hair (and I use to have bangs but like you they never stayed right) but now that my hair is so long it becomes straight when I blow dry it.

Morgan, if volume is what you're looking for, I would suggest a product that (I think) Matrix puts out. It's called "Amplify", and it's a "root lifter". I actually have the opposite problem as you; too much volume (or so I think)~~so I only know this valuable and precious information because of the fine-haired ladies I know telling me their secrets.

That'll be twenty bucks. 😛
Why do people stay in relationships that make them miserable? I don't understand it, but I see so many people I know in these kinds of situations, and I think to myself, "jeeze, they could get someone far better!!!". They even talk about breaking up, or e

Is it not good to start a topic on people the world would be better off without? Well, since I'm not actually going to kill any of them, I think it's fine.

I'm not going to do political figures or even public figures in general, since I'm sure th
