LOL i heard that song, me and my 2 friends were going to one of their houses and like we started singing songs that involve a girl "hating" their man, like "she hates me" - puddle of mindd, "she loves me not" - paparoach, "i wanna get free, she never loved me" - the vines..it was funny tho...cus each of us kept switching and singing only the chorus parts, ppl stared at us like were krazy.. =p

romeclone, I suppose I like it because I am twisted! LOL! Have you heard it? It is negative, yes, but tells a story and is perhaps on the side of exaggeration...she HATES me...the poem that I wrote that was published was also about love and was very negative...but, not everything I write is that way...I think what I like the most is the idea that we do have the freedom of speech...

Luz! Puddle of mindd?? The name of the band is Puddle of mudd, seriously!...anyway...you can find the lyrics on the net..

romeclone! You have the CD!! LOL! Then you like it too! Is it a single...that is what it looked like...but, there might be three songs on it?? I have only looked it up on the net and not gone shopping for it for real yet...
What other kind of music do you like? I mean...name some bands...
I am old...(compared to you! LOL!)...but, I love music...however, I cannot find another band that I have as much fun listening to as I do the Clash...their lyrics just crack me up!! Especially the London Calling CD...

Example:
My baby drove up in a brand new Cadillac...
I said, 'Je $ u $ ChriSt, where's you get that Cadillac'?
She said, 'Balls to ya Daddy!'
She ain't never comin' back!

No, no no romeclone! Only "professional" poets need skills. I thought I had no skills too and then out of the blue, one of my poems got published! What I do is I just let myself write without caring about rhyming and stanzas and word choice and all that, unless I'm in the mood to worry about it. Never stop writing. After awhile, you will notice that you get better at it without even trying. Okay now about Puddle of Mudd--I like that band and I like that song too...the only thing that bothers me is the fact that the lead singer doesn't appear to believe in shampoo. I hate that. So I turn off their videos when I see them. But if I hear them on the radio, I crank it. lol.

Romeclone I am not into country music much...I can listen to a very limited amount before I puke! LOL! I like Incubus too. The Clash had a short lived career...late 70's early 80's. I believe 'London Calling' was their best, but, according to critics it was the album/cd simply called 'The Clash'...not the first time I have disagreed with critics and probably not the last...
I don't get into rap too much, but, I do like some Eminem and Pappa Roach. I am more into Rock, R&B, and Blues. I can listen to jazz though and classical. While I think classical music is beautiful, it puts me to sleep if I get too much! I need a beat I can bang my head to!! LOL!

I agree with Phoenix about the poetry..it doesn't have to rhyme...it just has to be from the heart! (I guess my heart is very dark! LOL!)
Yeah, Phoenix...I go by the sound too and not the way they look!
Just like the title reads!

I would really like to know what it is!

You first :)

I think we have too many boards, our community is becoming fragmented! What ever happened to the heated discussions we used to have on the misc. board?

I am starting to freak out a little, and I am regressing back to childish things i.e. comfort toys etc...lol

Anything would help!

Do any of you guys forgive easily? Or do you hold grudges? I always seem to hold grudges against people who have hurt me in the past. Maybe I just want to protect myself from getting hurt again, but maybe I'm just being stupid. I dont know...
