Spoiled mutt.

My dog is so dang spoiled. He barks and whines at us during every meal so we feed him the stuff we're eating even though he's got a bowl full of dog food. He'll go for days on end without eating or drinking except for the human food we give him. Finally, we figured out the solutuion, we put his dog food on a plate and his water in a cup and now he's eating and drinking regularly with no complaints :🙂

If that stops working, and he starts whining again, take a bit of his dog food and give that to him (out of your hand) when he cries. But don't give him anything else, or he'll learn to expect it and then he'll never want to eat his dog food. Animals are so funny, they're just like children in some ways.

My dog is a big baby also and whines for absolutely no reason, just to get attention. You can sit there and pet him for a half hour, and as soon as you stop or even pause, he starts to cry. Unfortunately merely saying "stop whining" does nothing...so you have to keep petting him.
