Something weird happened yesterday morning and I was wondering if anyone has had any similar experiences.
I was staying over at someone's house and at about 8:30am the phone rang. It woke me up and I sat bolt upright in bed and the immediately thought 'My grandfather's died'. He hasn't been sick and there was no reason for this thought to pop into my head.
So... I went back to sleep and later on my mother rang to tell me my grandfather had died at about 8:30am. I'm still in shock, not so much for the fact that he did die, because an unexpected death is always a shock, but the fact that at the same time he died I woke up and knew it with a bizarre and unsubstantiated certainty.
And it's weird because you hear about similar things happening to people when someone dies, but the fact that it actually happened to me is really freaking me out.
i'm sure i'll be fine when the whole numb death wave feelings subside, but for now I seem to be circulating in shock mode.
I've heard of that type of thing happening to people before. I have never had that experience. And, sorry about your grandfather. It's strange but for all my belief in the spirit world and all things metaphysical, and my desire to "see" something, or "know" something, it seems like things like that *never* happen to me.
Anyway, I think it's remarkable that you have that ability, as sad as it is that you've discovered it in such a way.
i had the similar thing happen to me with my late grandma on my dad's side
i even told my mom and left work early just to tell her that something is wrong with her, and i knew somehow, its just that creeping feeling in your gut that lets you know.
i told my mom that grandma might be dead. the next day i had recieved a call from asia telling our family that she was dead...

People are illogical, unreasonable and self-centered. If you do good, people will accuse you of selfish ulterior motives. If you are successful, you will win false friends and true enemies. The good you do today will be forgotten tomorrow.

So, I gather we're going to war with Iraq for definite now. I haven't been able to handle much news lately. Just haven't had the patience to watch. Too much depression and apprehension. My question is, are we going to win do you all think? And in you

Why do people stay in relationships that make them miserable? I don't understand it, but I see so many people I know in these kinds of situations, and I think to myself, "jeeze, they could get someone far better!!!". They even talk about breaking up, or e
NOT that I am generally a cookiemonstery person but I decided to vent here instead of writing a very nasty email to my new sister-in-law. Here's the scene...*must breathe..must keep breathing*...my brother (who is totally awesome) is living in England an
