i've been thinking, you know..sometimes being nice doesnt get you anywhere and being mean doesnt get you anywhere either. So what the f*k are you suppose to be? I'm really confused about that these days. Its like even if you're nice, people still throw butter in your face but when you're mean and in control, people back off. So what the F*K is up with that? I really dont know anymore. It seems as though, as more as i grow up, i'm becoming cold and dont give a f*k about people anymore. This is not how i want to be, i dont want to be super nice. But i guess.. the only way is to just go on with my life. Do what i wish i have to do..to get by.

i always believed in being nice while still holding my dignity, but i dont know..maybe i'm just mad at the world. Yes if you are confused, you're not alone. I'm probably more confused with myself.

i know what you mean simplyme, just because people dont follow what they preach doesnt mean that what they say is necessarily NOT useful, but most people dont even follow most of the time what they say, because people change. And everyone contradicts, but i guess it matters if you actually grow from those contradictions, and if you dont, then oh what the f*k evers.

You have to ask... if people don't practice what they preach, what do children learn out of it? By saying that you should treat everyone with respect and that you should love your enemies and yet not following your own advice just allows kids to think that is what they are supposed to do. Personally, I try to be nice to everyone (and so far succeeded with one exception) and treat everyone with respect. If others think I'm a wimp with no backbone- I don't care.
