Well Twink, my city is known for it's cheesesteaks and pretzels and for the worst sports fans in the country(we can't help it that we're overly emotional-Go Eagles!). In my city you will also find Indepenpence Mall( the place where the Declaration of Independence was signed) and the Betsy Ross house and wait, I can't forget about the Liberty Bell. So Twink,if you haven't figured it out yet I live in Philadelphia aka Philly.

I wish it was as sophisticated as that, romeclone!! LOL!
All right...what's the big secret right?
I live in Minnesota (land of 10,000+ lakes). I live in a town/city whose nickname is SPAMtown! (gag me with a spoon!) I hate spam. It is that meat that isn't meat at all! Yuck! I don't know what is was about pigs that they thought they should eat every part of them...including their feet! Although they do sell the brains and tongues of cows too! Does anyone understand why? I will stick with fish and poultry!

You are right though, romeclone, STD's are on the rise everywhere! Minneapolis/St.Paul too!

So, out of compete boredom Star, I went to someplace like minnesota.com or whatever it was, and you're so lucky to live there! dxp too! Anyway, you have neato parks and lots of lakes. lol. Of course, you already know that. But anyway, I was looking at all these pretty photographs of the city, and, I'm jealous. We have maybe 3 parks in my city. Most of them are for teenagers to roll blunts and wax poetic. lol.

Gwen, I will take a wild, completely uneducated guess and say you're from Washington, D.C? I could be way off...

Oh and about my post above...not trying to make it seem like my whole city is all about drugs or anything, just saying that there are certain areas where, if you're needing a fix of some kind, you're pretty much guaranteed to find one. lol. It's amazing, I just keep digging the whole deeper and deeper. :0)

No not Washington DC (they have the highest smoking rate in the country). I'm from right by the city of Poughkeepsie (pronounced Poe-kip-see). It's upstate New York, an hour from the city. You drive along the hudson river, beautiful nature, trees and water all around, and then you enter Poughkeepsie...sirens...guns fire... crime.... prostitution... drugs transactions.... we even had our own serial murderer a few years back- he was the school janitor. Our claim to fame, other than FDR, is Vassar college an-almost IV League school.

Phoenix, you are right. Minnesota is beautiful...perhaps not all of it...but, the lake areas are without a doubt! Rochester,MN is full of parks and bike/walking paths thanks to the brothers Mayo. They donated land etc. for such things. That is so cool! I love the Mayo bros!
I live in a city 45 miles from Roch., where Hormel and Spam exist...luckily I am outside the city limits and away from the SMELL!! LOL! I will live in Roch someday...just not in the cards yet!

OMG, Gwen! That is awful about the school janitor! I hope it didn't get far before he was caught! The bastard!

Miss Post,

I grew up 60 miles north of New York City, but Salem, NY, and Pound, Ridge NY were just a stones throw away. I have been all over that state, and it is as pretty as Oregon and North Carolina too. I think my favorite town was Ithaca. That was my first adventure away from home when I was only 15. I use to take off alot and drove my parents crazy. I wasnt running from them; I wanted to see what was out there! Where you live, Gwen, you really have the best of both worlds.

lol. We have to watch out for deer here, too, except not really in the city but outside the city limits and also in many of the surrounding cities/towns (I guess you could call them large towns or small cities). I love deer, which is totally off topic...my boyfriend's dad hit an owl once, which I guess is almost as bad as a deer when it's flying toward your windshield at a million miles an hour 😛 It died.

Where my boyfriend used to live, people would have to stop for cows all the time in the middle of the road...the cows would just stand there looking at you like, "what. what are you gonna do, huh?" lol. Sometimes they would get hit, and sometimes they would have to call special people to come out and force the cow to move, because yelling at it and honking wouldn't do anything...

~deer~ well you should live where I am now....LOL....we have a doe and her "doelings?"....lol...they were fawns in the spring but now are growing up...come to visit the backyard every day...we put mineral and salt licks out for them and they also eat the apples off the apple tree....one day I was cleaning the kitchen and walked inline of the side door (it's up on a 5ft deck) and had to stop and back up because I thought I "saw" something......yep I did!....LMAO!! one of the "babies" decided he wanted to see what was going on in the house and had climbed the stairs and was peeking at me through the the door!! It was hilarious!! Scared the bejeezus out of both of us...I went one way and he went flying off the deck!! 🙂 Had a stag come up one day, who started snorting and stomping against the side of the house where I had been weeding just the day before...apparently he didn't like the fact that I had been in "his" territory!! and then there were the 3 "juvenile deliquent" wild turkeys who tried to stand me off when I was trying to come off of the deck one day......The wildlife is definatly WILD around here & I LOVE IT!!.............
Just like the title reads!

I would really like to know what it is!

You first :)

I think we have too many boards, our community is becoming fragmented! What ever happened to the heated discussions we used to have on the misc. board?

Do any of you guys forgive easily? Or do you hold grudges? I always seem to hold grudges against people who have hurt me in the past. Maybe I just want to protect myself from getting hurt again, but maybe I'm just being stupid. I dont know...

You know....The girl that stares you down everyday with cutting eyes, the man or woman that gets mad because you're not interested. You know, like when you achieve something and people get mad. Like when women say, "She thinks she is so hot", and they can

I find it childish that people get upset because they can't get what they want. I don't think god made this world for one person, and you will have some ups and downs. Please deal with it like everyone else. What do you guys think?

Just thought I would start a new thread about nothing. Why is the water in the bathroom colder than that in the kitchen? Why do Brides pick hideous colours and styles for their Bridesmaids to wear? Why do we allow dogs to lick our faces when we know wh

"I hate myself...I love myself...I just can't control myself...—"

My question is this...

How many people in your opinion do these above statements refer to...?

For an entity to refer to itself as "me" and "I" suggests that the
