Does Moon in Pisces match Moon in Aqua?
not really, but it's possible you can get some astrological compatibility via his sun to your moon and your sun to his venus/mars.
He's a Pisces sun and you're a Taurus sun. You should get enough sense from your Taurus influences and your Gemini Venus to put up with his cooler moon.
I was looking at a thread about Pisces moon people and psychosomatic illness. I can't relate to a lot of the flakier characteristics of Pisces moon. Having a Pisces moon doesn't mean you can't handle someone who's more rational than emotional. You have other placements and aspects you could call on.
My inner planets almost match yours exactly. I just have Taurus Mars instead of Aries.

I'm Pisces moon & my BF is Aqua moon, it works for us but I'm not sure if it has much to do with our moons .. I think it's more cuz he's Neptune dominant

Well it's not that aqua moons are emotionless but have trouble expressing their emotions. A pisces moon did amazing things for me in learning how to express my emotions. Boy when I figure out how it can be shocking what comes out lol

His cap venus is earthy, contained, while your gemini venus needs constant stimulation and with that aries mars you will always try to communicate and ask questions, and talk his head off, which will eventually drive him surely but slowly mad. I dated a man with a pisces moon, aries mars and gemini venus he is a good guy but i have a capricorn venus and he is just too much for me. I need peace and alone time, so did he but he was always trying to communicate and learn new things when I just wanted a break from life to just be limbo. I have a pisces moon and it still didnt make a difference
im just afraid he'd be cold to me since i read moon in aqua is rather ... emotionless or not as touchy-feely as moon in pisces.

surprisingly he said that its no big deal and its cool and not to think about it too much. but deep down i feel like im this fly that persists on having a taste of his food.
sure part of me is emotional and needs alot of affection (im raised in an affectionate household) but i have also rational and love giving and receiving space.
part of me thinks i should just be cool and not involve too much emotions. what do u think?

What happened was I cared enough when he'd get all emotional & jumping to conclusions to set him straight & tell him how I really felt. I learned it was safe to express my emotions with him & it got easier and easier. I am emotional in my opinion but I dont know if I can speak for all Aqua moons because I have my moon in the 12th house and Im also Pisces dominant with Pisces and 12th house stellium with Neptune being 2nd dominant planet. So my Aquarius stelliun including my moon may be toned down a bit? It seems like he has a lot of unemotional signs though. All that Capricorn. Capricorn is also unemotional and serious. It may depend on how emotional you are, you're not too full of water. So you may be able to handle rational side. I think only you can know if you're too sensitive for him.
I will add though that for me it's hard for me to express my emotions and how I feel. I can hide my emotions well when I want to, so people may just assume I have no emotions which is not true at all. These days I show my emotions more but when I was younger I was a master at a pokerface? Lol so if he's anything like me then give him time to open up and make him feel comfortable around you, then maybe he'll express himself more to you.

you know he told me once he is "really sensitive" i guess thats his pisces side

All the Aquarius moons I know (except for one, with a Gemini sun and Venus, and I'm sure he still felt emotions just didn't know how to express it AT ALL except on VERY RARE occasions) have been very deep feeling people. But they are smart about it.
My sister is Pisces sun Aqua moon, and she can go from balling her eyes out to totally detached from the thought. She can logic her way through a feeling, and she can't even explain it.
My dad is Scorpio with Aqua moon, and he too is very deep feeling, but he doesn't want anyone else to know that 😉 He shows his love through practical ways, acts of service and quality time.
