My friend just got a huge box of VHS videotapes of hit movies! They range from late Eighties up to early 2000's. I think I'll just keep refreshing this thread everytime I watch one. Theres over 100 of them, each was a big hit back in the day. Glad I kept my VCR around. I wont bother critiqueing the film so much as I will what things come to mind when I watched them.
Last night, I watched:
Terminator II - didnt really "watch" it, just let it play and bopped around the house doing stuff. seen it so many times before, all i look at are the spec/fx scenes
Mission Impossible - probably cruises last film before he went all weird and scientology on us
The Flintstones - my daughter loved it. willma is a real milf in this one
10 Things I Hate About You - heath ledger about as cool and charming as he ever was
I watched Forest Gump today. The scene when he discovered his running inclination. The one where Jenny screams, "Run, Forest, run!" and he breaks loose from the leg braces- well, I damn near cried. I didn't actually cry, but I got all warm and choked up inside.
Navy SEALs- Charlie Sheen when he was still a young lad...forgetaboutit
Red Dawn- All the brat pack in their glory
Demolition Man- Stallone/Snipes...like that pair was ever going to work out...
