Recently I joined a music club, thinking it would be a good thing to do in order to take advantage of the better deals they have on music purchases, etc. Well, aside from the annoyance of having to pay for shipping (although it's pretty reasonable), I'm very glad I joined because they were having this huge sale where all their cds were a mere $ 2.99, so I freaked out and decided to order all the ones I've always wanted but never had gotten around to buying. lol. I went a little crazy. And with it being online, it's just so damn easy to click, click click...🙂 Plus I really hate going to a music store and not finding exactly what I wanted, and I hate to bother the employees with "can you order this" whine whine whine.

File Transfer Protocols in short FTP....is a client that connect 2 or more computers with each other You need a program called FTP client to setup communication link between your computer and the host computer. then you can search and share files between two or more computers with a similar connection to the host computer. 🙂
Ahhh, thank you for explaining that. I had no idea. It's all very fascinating and so nice of you to offer (really!) 🙂
You see, to sum up, I had downloaded over a thousand songs on my computer at my house, right...and then my dad made me (oh yes, insisted without argument allowed) delete every single file because he didn't want the government to find out and because it's illegal, blah blah blah.
But anyway, I did know that you can pay a price to subscribe to music things like that, but I think I've honestly come to the conclusion that I actually like physically holding a cd in my hand, and *having* it. I know, I could burn them from the internet etc, I just like having a physical collection. There's just something about it. lol. Even if it is a bit more expensive.
It *was* Jefferson Airplane, you're very right. I had just heard that on the radio not long ago, and then you posted it.
YOU ARE SOOOO RIGHT, I love, love love LOVE the BBC sessions...I've been playing it on my new stereo system that I recently bought, constantly. The ones getting the most play right now are the BBC sessions and the Very, Very Very Very Best of the Best of The Eagles. lol...😛 I'm not quite as happy with the Cream cd...there's a few songs on it that I don't care for at all. A lot of it is very trippy, sixties/ish which is cool, for just laying there, relaxing, listening...but I just keep going back to the Zeppelin. It's that genius rock thing they had going. Right now my favorite two tracks on the BBC sessions are Traveling Riverside Blues, anf The Girl I Love She Got Long Black Wavy Hair. My repeat button is getting a lot of use. 😛
That was awfully nice of you to loan your brother-in-law your Zeppelin. Not so sure I could do that. lol. They're my babies, you know.

So I think I'll share my fave Beatles lyrics with y'all. And it's gonna be in alphabetical order, seeing as how this wonderful site has them all in alphabetical order. :) Wow, they made so much music it's unbelievable! Goodness.
I can't even tell you how much this bugs me...I've been talking about all these good songs on our continuous loop cd at work, but I need to mention that not all of the songs are good. Get ready to hear something shocking and shameful. There's a g-damned
GREAT NEW rock song. It's actually called "I Believe in a Thing Called Love" and it's by this really odd band called The Darkness. Watch the video on launch.com (you know, they should really pay me for all my promoting. lol) It's a great song.
I need some new music, badly...it's been way too long since I bought a CD. Does anyone have any recommendations for someone who likes mainly alternative rock, and classic rock (but not heavy metal or rap)?
So, I ended up buying:
