ohh boy ohh boy ohhh boy.....!

U-2 e.g "GODS"....have decided to embrace this dump called Norway at 27th. July in Vale Hovin ....! Muwahahahaha.....got the tickets.... damn thing was sold out in 59 minutes its damn record (over the last pinkfloyd concert 1.24 hours) LMAO...!!

Lets hope they perform (how to dismantle the Atomic bomb) a lot?!!

Also my fave?..!

I have climbed the highest mountain
I have run through the fields
Only to be with you
Only to be with you

I have run, I have crawled
I have scaled these city walls
These city walls
Only to be with you

But I still haven't found what I'm looking for
But I still haven't found what I'm looking for

I have kissed honey lips
Felt the healing in her fingertips
It burned like fire
This burning desire
I have spoke with the tongue of angels
I have held the hand of a devil
It was warm in the night
I was cold as a stone

But I still haven't found what I'm looking for
But I still haven't found what I'm looking for

I believe in the kingdom come
Then all the colors will bleed into one
Bleed into one
Well, yes, I'm still running

You broke the bonds and you
Loosed the chains
Carried the cross
And my shame
All my shame
You know I believe it

But I still haven't found what I'm looking for
But I still haven't found what I'm looking for
But I still haven't found what I'm looking for
But I still haven't found what I'm looking for

Q-Bone, as we were talking about the U2 concert recently I thought I drop you a line about my U2-concert-experience from last week.
It was awesome! They played like 2,5 hours and included many old songs like I still haven?t found..., Pride, Sunday Bloody Sunday, Without you, One and some songs from their newer albums.
The show was great and so was their performance and light-show. I wish I could go again.
You have fun at the concert!

Hey, my beautiful Q. and the rest of the crew.........glad to hear that you like the U2 boys:-) from Ireland:-)

Bono, Paul Hewson, comes from the same estate I grew up in - I know his family well enough to say hi to....but when I was at school, a girl in the next class, used always try to get us teeny-boppers to go see this "great new band" - she was their no. 1 fan.....she used play their songs on the piano to us in the assembly hall and we'd all just put our eyes up to heaven.....who the hell were U2?

My husband used work with Larry Mullen's then girlfriend and now wife and used drink with Larry and his pals many years ago.

To see them in concert is actually a spiritual experience.

Even if Bono has a thing about his height and insists on wearing platforms, with a voice like that.....he doesn't need any props!

Now the guys live a dignified life in the leafy more well-off suburbs of Dublin - there's no drunken orgies, mad sex, drugs or rock and roll - they very rarely give interviews to international or even Irish journalists or press....sometimes you might see them in the city centre just sauntering round the shops, there's no bouncers or body-guards, no signs of the usual hysteria of the would-be wannabe stars of today.....

I often use their phrase...."you've got to get yourself together...you've got stuck in a moment and you can't get out of it".......how many of us people on the duncan board tend to "get stuck in a moment"!!!!!me so included:-)

bye for now my sweet Q

Ax

Words are normally pathetic in conveying emotion. Hence, the reason for art. To put something a certain way to make another say, "I understand!" Or, "I've felt that way!" To create a commonality, almost like an empahtic rapport; sharing what's inside

I used to be a big fan of Pantera back in the 90's. It is very sad. The guy blamed Darrell for Pantera's breaking up. There are some crazy people in this world! :(

Tears for Fears - Pretty much like all of there songs atleast the ones that I know of, especially Shout and Pale Shelter.

Blondie - One of those groups that have grown on me in the last couple of years by being around others who like them.

Gonna find my baby, gonna hold her tight
Gonna grab some afternoon delight
My motto's always been 'when it's right, it's right'
Why wait until the middle of a cold dark night?
When everything's a little clearer in the light of day
And
