So.. I figured maybe creating a thread with a dedicated purpose can focus people to the specific thread.

All you DXP hazers please do not ruin this experiment. I like to see how far this thread can go within the small refines of this forum.

back on topic, do any of you ISFPs had a predictable 9-5 job currently of before and how did you manage to adapt to those restrictions? I have been working in multiple industries for the past 8 years and I can never stay in one place for more than 2 years. Has anyone managed to conquer this habit of ours?

heyo MA. I agree about the self-employed part but as of now I don't have the finance to support such a decision. I tried to stay with my latest employment and I couldn't help but leave as being at a consistent place caused me to be hospitalized. The stress of being in the same place with same environment and same people give me a bad reaction. My boss insisted I stay as I was economic labour but I just couldn't. My medical bills was going to soar higher than my salary.

I'm looking for ways to cope with restrictive office environment for long term. It's a constant battle for me to deal with my inner issues while handling external stress in the office.

Just found this board! Have been meaning to ask about personality types.

Yes, i have a 9-5 and I hate it. I think I'm finally realizing I will die a slow death if I continue this for another year. Hell sometimes I wonder how I've managed for so long. Part of me needs stability and that's why I've stayed in these type of positions for so long. I just know it's not meant for me to fit myself in this box.

What type of industry are you and the other isfp in?

You need to think outside the box (or office). It's fine to work for someone else, just focus on another way to utilize your skills so your job is less stressful for you.
This is what I need to do. I'm trying to Find an internship or something that can get my feet out of this door.

I see myself working alone in the future. I can't take the structural is stuff. I feel like such a rebel sometimes compared to my co workers.
