I need to vent because I bought my brother a necklace, sunnies, crystal deodorant and hair clippers and he bought me a fucking kite and it wasn't even funny!!!

I got ear phones from mum and $ 100 though......I shouldn't be complaining the fridge is full

I skipped out on christmas eve to see someone but all I got was complicated emotional baggage.
I just wanted a nice cute evening maybe something corny like mistletoe action.

The problem is that when a superb gift giver is met with a lazy bum, you get shitty as presents or the dreaded gift card.

i dont expect anything and my husband doesn't expect anything but all the children got lots of fun gifts and we took them to the zoo and amusement places. they love their gifts.

however for us adults, it's tricky.

i still got my husband sets of fun looking socks, not weird or anything just more blue/black colours of festive artistic flair. and then some undie warmers long john warmer types because it's freezing out there in the winter weather. need to keep him warm when im not around. lots of other small gadgety stuff. I still got my fitness membership but we've all been having colds. My husband surprised me later, after Christmas with something i didnt want because i'm content with my old one. and it's wasted money. But he bought me a new laptop. my tears welled up. And bought me expensive headphones as he thinks i Always buy cheap ones which he's right. he hates that.
