A little clarity

What is it with the Pisces/Gemini combination? I mean this is the only sign where I have had the hardest time shaking. Everyone else is pretty much, once I'm gone, I'm gone! But this one, we both agree that there is something about each other that keeps pulling us back in! Is this normal?

Hey ArilOx .. my first husband was a Gemini and we had the push and pull thing going on. For several years we tried to walk away from each other before the final split.

It was sex that kept us going back .. outside the bedroom, the relationship was horrible .. sexually, it rocked.

Then the day came that it was realized ..... sex wasn't worth it to continue any longer.

Moro19200, thanks for shedding some light on the situation. I'm a pisces female with a gem male. And you're right about the shared interests, i mean we have so much in common down to the same kind of pen we like to write with. We are currently on a "break" because he says he's not ready to commit, which i realized I'm not either. We're seeing "other people" but we can't let go of each other.

P-Angel, thank you for your advice also. We really don't have a relationship based on sex, we actually just enjoy each other's company. I dunno, it's just weird all around!

Alir .. pulling from my personal experience, there were two major problems in the relationship (other than his violent tendancies) that we couldn't find a middle ground ..

1. He was very focused on "image" that he projected, however, this image was pretty superficial, for it was in contridiction to how he really was inside. Because he was the typical Gem .. socially, this image was important to him. And that isn't a bad thing in itself, for there's nothing wrong with wanting people to view you in a certain light .. however, it was superficial and that bothered me. There were times when he was like this with me, too .. he had gotten so good at his game that he thought he could fool me .. wrong !!!

He didn't have the ability to seperate between the two much of the time. His "acting" twin to "look" good was the face he wore most of the time .. and it was just too much to handle.

Being good and looking good isn't the same thing. If he could have learned to take his mask off more often .. we might have been able to work around that.

2. It appears to be normal for the Gemini to get angered easily and when they do, they launch a full pursuit .. however, it's scattered. When the Gem is pissed off, it doesn't matter who is in his/way .. everybody feels the wrath. Certainly, we all get irate from time to time .. however, most people are controlled enough to know when and to whom to pick their battles. The Gem expresses to the whole world, it's feelings of joy, happiness and cheer .. so, most of the time, people don't even notice that they doso with most emotions, as well. And to strike out at every person in your path, simply because you're pissed off at something was intolerable for me.

It's like this .. if I (or somebody else) did something to make him lose his rag .. then everything I've ever said or done since I met him got brought up to bicker about. If he was pissed, a simple disagreement always became a huge dispute that he fueled with history. If that didn't provide enough fire, then extended family and friends were brought into the mix and everything fucked up they've ever done.

That's just not enough control for me. Ok, so there is a third thing that we couldn't find a middle ground on ..

3. Loyally defending someone is a pet-peeve of mine when it's misdirected .. habitually, he would go to bat for someone because of his own feelings and not because of the worth of the person or situation.

Thanks, DE .. he was all wrong for me. However, we divorced at 20, so I'm sure we're both really different now.

Although, rumor has it that he's still real violent. His wife always totes bruises and eventhough she has a warehouse full of excuses for them .. I know better, I lived it .. he batters his women.

And it probably has nothing to do with being a Gem .. his father was to his mother, so it was instilled by his parents.

I just saw my Pisces nephew not too long ago .. and he's getting married to a VIRGO .. shocked the hell out of me, he's always dated men.

I know that wasn't relative ... it just popped in my head when thinking about Pisces men.
