Hey Ya'll, It's that time of the year and currently, I'm just dealing with a minor dilemma on hand. Around Christmas, I'm always passing out cards and gifts to my family and friends, but I'm really selective about it. Currently, I'm just confused about a co-worker who has been nothing but a frustrating factor at work. It's this girl named "Holly". She's an Aquarius and she's really beautiful, but the only problem is that she's very self centered and always seeks other people's approval just to inflate her own ego. When you have to deal with that out of her for 8 hours, it can have a real draining and suffocating effect on you. I didn't get her a Christmas card because I don't feel that she cares for anyone but her damn self. She's really exhausting to me and alot of times, I'm always walking away from her just to spare myself the frustration.
As for other things, I was debating on whether I was right to get my Libra bud a Christmas card. Yeah, I've accepted him as a friend instead. I mean, all of his previous actions were puzzling and I was resistant to even making a move on him as a romantic pursuit. (Something just didn't seem right.)He flirts with me and it's not cool at all. In all honesty, I'm going to confront him and tell him that I did not appreciate the flirting because it's confusing and frustrating. I mean, if you're a straight guy, why the hell would you flirt with another guy!? He's going to get a piece of my mind. Dreamy-Eyez,out.
In the Christmas card dilemna I buy a box of cards and send them to co-workers who aren't on the friends list. I don't like hurting anyone's feelings like in high school where the popular people received all the cards and valentine's day cards but the unpopular kids received very little. I can't hurt anyone with that then or now, so I have a card for everyone. And you know what the little gestures like that can help me make friends with my former enemies. But with my friends that I do care about and want to do something, they get a nicer card and a message that I took the time to write for them. Anyhow that's how I roll.
Hi Dreamy-Eyez..'it's good to be selective, i know i would be, otherwise it just wouldn't feel right. Cards are for the people that i respect and care about. You would have to go with your gut instinct there... *and if the person is as you describe, i really wouldn't feel guilty either...*we all have our limits...LOL*
About your friend flirting with you, it sure won't be easy, but i feel you really have no choice but to confront him, as some people assume too much without your permission, or don't want to face reality; probably the sooner the better too, so his hopes don't continue to grow...*it won't be easy for a Libra to hear this, but i hope he respects your wishes, and your (friendship) can still continue if that's what you want... *Good luck! s~
