Gemini & Pisces - Communication Breakdowns

I've mentioned before that I get along with Geminis & Pisces, but I don't trust them. When I'm talking about something serious with GEMs, it's like they're playing a game; and with Pisces, it's like they aren't getting the meaning from my words that's intended - like they have some sort of weird filtering mechanism between their ears and their brains...

I would say it's an Elemental difference, except that I have no problem conversing with Libras, or Leos.

It's not a life-threatening failure, but it's definitely annoying!

So... are you Fishes intentionally misinterpreting?

If you have a problem ... why are you asking someone else to account for it, for you?

This thread takes a tone to suggest that somebody other than yourself is suppose to answer your problem for you.

I don't think us fishes intentionally misinterpret words. It's an unfortunate side effect of delving deeper into the situation. Perhaps, you are not clearly conveying what you mean. Often when I am with someone, I will pick up how they really feel about something by their body language/tone of voice. Sorry man. Its what we do 🙂

OK. I can buy that from an astrological POV, because Water Signs are more sensitive than us Earth Signs. BUT... I'm married to a Scorp. We had communication issues back when we were dating. So... maybe it's a function of knowing / not knowing the person, along with a different frame of reference??

It is your problem, Dyr ....... though, obviously you choose to believe it's not.

If you walk in front of a moving car, is it the driver of the car's responsibility to make up your mind for you whether you are going to cross the road at this time?


If you can't talk to Pisces people effectively .. then don't.

If you choose to anyway, and can't understand them .. then this is your issue because it was your choice.

Why must everyone have to explain to you all the time in here that if you make a choice, Dyr .. then it's yours?

If I'm talking to a group of people, and the only ones misunderstanding me are Geminis & Pisces, how the hell is that MY problem?? If 10 Signs out of 12 understand me, that's a majority - even on the Pisces Board...

Because, Dyr .. you have this awareness in place .. you KNOW that certain people cannot understand you, for you know so well that here you are, speaking it to be so ..

.. and still you choose to communicate with them.


If a person chooses to try and make sense out of nonesense .. then they themselves are full of nonesense as well .. because they KNEW, and did it anyway.

It's not your problem if a person cannot comprehend .. however, it IS your problem if you have this awareness, and choose the nonesense anyway, Dyr.

Yes, I have an awareness of miscommunication; as a Virgo, I'm trying to understand the Why - especially when I don't experience it with other Signs...

How's this for understanding you Dyr .. the above tone that you set for this thread is here because you wanted to vent out your annoyance, and so conveyed your irritation with us for annoying you .... and are trying to play it off as though your inquiry is a beneficial one for proper communication, as you believe we are so out-there, that we cannot figure out the trap.


Do you understand yourself, that this was a vent in place to get us to step into a match with you because you were annoyed and so had to find a place in which to aim this annoyance? Or do you really believe that you are seeking an understanding?

The answer to that ^^^ will determine who isn't understanding what is being said, Dyr.

Most of my dearest friends are geminis (females) and we have absolutely no problem communicating, but I understand what you are talking about. I've only been in one relationship with a gemini and it didn't work out. For the most part, we got alot GREAT...we were so close and so much alike..but on the other hand, he sometimes would say that I was putting words in his mouth or that I twisted his words around somehow. I could REALLY push his buttons in that manner. I think that Geminis love and communicate in a way that can be foreign to a pisces at times and my gemini ex, without meaning to, made me feel very insecure at times. In turn, pushing his buttons became my knee-jerk reaction and I didn't like it. Neither did he 😛

Once again, you're the only voice in one of my threads who doesn't get it. Thanks for illustrating my point that Pisces don't always hear what Virgo speaks...

Let me make it plainer: I think (propose) that my suspicions about Geminis & Pisces are due to my perception that they either "play" with my words (GEM), or misinterpret my words, and I seek in this thread to confirm or reject that idea...

I already stated at the start that it's annoying. So yes, I've already vented. Now, I'm trying to understand the behavior - as a psychologist, and as a Virgo.

See: I'd rather attribute it to a communication issue than to a dishonesty issue between the various Signs.

Doesn't make it any less annoying, but it makes it more tolerable.

If EVERY SIGN had problems understanding me, I'd say I'm bad at getting my point across. But, since it's most often Geminis & Pisces, it is reasonable to assume that since 10 out of 12 Signs do understand me, it ain't me...

It seems that Pisces "hear" the emotional content more than the literal words. OK. That's kinda in keeping with the general traits of the Sign. And, that tends to jive with the whole Water Sign thing, since my Scorpio Wife has told me (more than once!), "Sweetheart, I don't need to hear every detail about every thing!"

Now, I'm gonna go inflict this thread on the Gemini Board, and see what shit hits what fan...
