I could swear the three amigos are singing in english.

Maybe it's the beer I had for breakfast.

Even so, Happy Birthday
No matter the language, the message was conveyed. Ayeee mr. Firebird. What kind of beer do you drink?? Might have to import some lol

Probably, not the best brand, Nemy.
Very fond of Lagers. I don't normally drink.
Being the blackbird that I am, I'm usually up all night
and sometimes 3/4s through the day.
Instead of sleeping pills, I thought I'd try a beer.
Results, thus far, are mixed.

By the way......
When I used to drive trucks across the US, to give you an idea how much I drove, it would be like driving from Amsterdam Netherlands, (via Frankfurt, Vienna, and Istanbul) to Baghdad, Iraq. This distance is roughly the same as a road trip from Boston, Massachusetts (where everybody knows your name), to Long Beach, California (which is next door to Los Angeles. I could leave on a Saturday and be back the following Saturday, grab another trailer and do it all over again, and again, and again and again.... loads like that gets pretty
old after awhile. I remember a time when driving about 50 miles (80 kilometers) took about as long as walking from one room to the next. You just get so used to the big miles
that short distances like 125 miles seemed like driving down the street.

Well... anyway.

oiii mr. firebird, yes i know the song you posted .....it´s also quite full of melancholia although it rides in on a dreamy harmonious melody ...
Interesting. I never thought of that tune as being full of melancholia. When I heard it the first time back in the late 70s, I thought it was quite relaxing, but for my hearing loss
I couldn't understand the words. It's that way for many, many songs. Anyway, I had actually sailed a sailboat at the time, with my dad. Probably the only good memory I
have of him. In 1982 I took up oil painting, painting marine subjects after the manner of Willem Van De Velde, my personal favorite, along with Jan Van Goyen, Jacob Van Ruisdael, Jan Van De Cappelle, and Aelbert Cuyp and the English Abraham Storck. among many of their contemporaries, as well as American Winslow Homer and Montague Dawson.

Just a few examples
