Having a good memory of people

Hey there im new here and ive just started looking into the pisces characteristics and its just like me. i was wondering if any of you other pisces ever run into somebody you met once before and you remember them, but they dont even remember you? its like i dont know how people can be so forgetful i remember faces pretty good and have a good memory. Maybe its the way pisces look at everything im real visual i guess.

yeah that's me!! i even remember what my students wrote in their compositions!! and i am talking of ppl who were in my classes years ago!
it seems though that cancerians too have a good memory... but they select more than us pisces, i guess

The Pisces I know have amazing memories... even of the most trivial things...
And yes I agree firefly... Us Cancers have pretty good memories too...
I'd describe it as selective too... it has to be something worthy of remembering...

I think I might be the exception to the rule. I do have a knack for remembering locations of things after only having been there once and when I meet people I sometimes remember them, especially if there is something about them that stands out in my mind. But in my real life I meet TONS of people all the time...I'm very social and even when I'm at work I talk to a minimum of 100 people a day and sometimes I see as many as 50,000 or more. It's impossible for me to remember people under those circumstances.

Not such a good memory for people, faces, names, that sort of thing-unless something stands out, impresses or is memorable, but i do have a *great* memory for most other (even minute) detail, alot of it work related. I am highly perceptive, so very good initiative-intuition skills. I also have a good memory for astrology, because i naturally love it.

Plus we all know how profound events can trigger our memories, as well. (extreme emotion being linked to long-term memory). We all remember what we were doing the moment we heard of 911 or the death of Michael Jackson, etc.

i agree too with the selective memory thing, the rest is all filtered.. =)

I have a really amazing memory usually, and it surprises and pleases people.
(People LOVE to be remembered, it's very flattering!)
As for people forgetting ME, no, not yet.
My athazagoraphobia would totally flare up and I might stroke out on the spot!

But also, if I simply DON'T remember someone's name or where I know them from,
I just blurt it out, "I'm terribly sorry, but I've forgotten your name. Refresh my memory please?"
No one's ever been totally pissed at me for forgetting,
but most people I know would never be like me and admit they're clueless.
They just play along, hoping the name or whatever will come to them, etc.

Is this a Pisces trait, or just a Me trait? lol
