You??d be surprised. Venus in Aries + Mars in Aries here= I oscillate between extremely shy and extremely bold. I guess it all depends on what opportunities are revealed out there.-

Moon, Venus and Mercury in Aries here, shy until I have met the love my life, since then shyness gone almost completely.

*dazzled* Never met a shy Venus in Aries.. esp not one ALSO with Moon or Mars.. consider me nonplussed.

Quiet, sure. I'm not loud or brash, more like gentle and watchful, very classy and feminine. Think smoldering embers. (My Taurus Moon/Mars) But in the Venus department.. when I want something, I'm fearless about it, unafraid of getting hurt. KNOW I'll probably get hurt, but forge ahead regardless. Venus in Aries is said to be the epitome of bold.

I wonder what cancels out or dampens down all that Aries Fire for you guys?

I dont know for sure. Maybe is diffrent for men and women.

I think that having confidence or a purpose makes me not shy. Then I am fearless as you say. Now I have a big one and I use to say that now I can rule the world.

My Pisces sun, Gemini ascendant and Cancer mars, altogether, probably ruin some Aries energy or action.

I am very courageous but first I am very cautious or prepared.

Probably my Pisces sun, coupled with the weirdness and over-analysis of an Aquarius Moon. Whenever I'm feeling impetuous and just "go with it" though I charge ahead with fearlessness as you described.-

Sounds like you have a really good guy on your hands.

Keep him, and let the relationship blossom.

It's rare that someone feels such genuine emotional response for another, and vice versa.
