Hello! My name is Shay. I'm a Leo.. and many other things 😄

I've only been around two Pisces where we actually talked thoroughly, surprisingly! I got along with both of them - and quite well. However, on they drifted as life took course with our separate paths.

I thought I may inquire more into the 'Piscean' (obviously not lumping everyone into groups - but you get the jist) mind and way, while I have the opportunity to on a forum..

Also, hopefully this doesn't sound rude or triggering, but I've seen Pisces and addiction to drugs/alcohol linked before. Actually, I also have aspects where Neptune shows up - and admittedly I've had fair share of excessive intake of the like. It was my choice - not an astrological 'force', but irregardless.

I'm just wanting to learn a bit more about Pisces aspects and be able to see that with my next encounter with your dreamy ways!

Thank you c:

My own experience with a Leo in a relationship was disastrous. Generally speaking, we -Pisces- are inwards looking people and from this that sense of "otherworldliness", we can survive without constant attention and are not too mindful of what the world thinks. Whereas Leo -again in general terms- needs constant flashiness and attention, from constant partying to whatever type of social gathering. There was a certain fascination in the begining, but that quickly faded for both of us.

With regard to drugs in my particular case, I was the voice of moderation and my ex Leo was the downward spiral of excess and extreme drugs.

Needless to say, not a particularly fruitful combination.

Most Pisces don't care for Leo's to have encounters with our dreamy ways .. mainly due to Leo's beind demanding and attention whores. We are more inclined to not care about the superficial attention the Lion strives to get.

And being a Lion, you would have no life experience about a Piscean addiction, to be able to speak of it as if it's true.

I find that I'd like to clear some differences of how my post was intended in tone. I posted originally out of pure curiosity and intrigue. I didn't stereotype in my first post, aside from referencing astrological text and basic knowledge. I have very few air signs in my life and minimal air aspects in my chart. I try not to base my knowledge of the world and inhabitants on the resources I hold - I'm going into a field where I'm literally hands on with people of all shapes, sizes, and backgrounds. I've never wanted to provide anything less than my best care to everyone I am working with - even with rapport.

The second post was much in response to the message immediately prior. I felt pretty frustrated at the 'demanding and attention whore Leos' and 'superficial attention'. Plus - the bit about the 'assumption of addiction'. I was curious and asking originally and felt immediately like I was shut out by it despite my good intentions. Typically, I'm not one to react like that but geesh. And it made no sense to me considering that I had actually left and wasn't looking for manipulation. I wasn't going to come back, but then I noticed the length of 3 pages to it. At first I was a bit worried to read the messages but the following messages didn't judge my intentions/Leos as quickly. Although, with the tone of my second post, I can understand your response and from which it was created.

And candidly speaking - there should be more prerequisites in life 😉

Although I must ask, why the parentheses around the 'a' of my name?

I really do appreciate your post, because honestly it's reminders like that which I could use to have a mutual positive situation with more 'Air' concentrated signs.

@Cow puncher
Thank you lightening the tone up!! You have a good sense of humor 😉

@Elusive
I'll also try to keep in mind that it's not negative nor rude - but rather a determining of character? Or how else would you phrase it?

Oooh! Oh geesh, I'm dense. I will say though, I am more of the shyer Leos. Passionate but I prefer a quieter atmosphere and more cozy surroundings.

Elusive, I'll happily become derailed with you 😉

Well to be 100% honest, I think these candid responses and words are about as real as I can witness. I do agree with your point on perceptions and experiences - nobody can fit into a 'pretty little box' with definitions and labels. There are always contradictions and nullifications due to life's unique nature.

I'd be most blunt in saying that I felt intrusive 'just reading' posts in the Pisces boards, so I made a thread. That seemed like a 'failure' at first but now I'm appreciating the nature of the responses I'm receiving. So, I don't think any defined question will answer more than what I've read 🙂 I'll be sure to lurk and pop into these boards now that my awkwardly executed 'hello' has been established 😛

Piranha - thank you!!! Your honesty and 'diary' post helped clear up instances and made it more understandable for me. I have the worst poker face in the world (there's probably a trophy somewhere in my room). Many times, I feel exposed and shy up a bunch and wall up too. I don't -understand- per say, but I can relate to the last two paragraphs. I have a Scorpion moon which constantly tries to 'extinguish' my Leo fire and throughout my life I've always felt 'dual'.

And your 'translation' (of sorts) has revealed some insight as to my approach and how that wasn't the most appropriate..

Yay 🙂 🙂
