Ok, I didn't get my ham in because I was sleeping, instead .. I had chicken breasts thawed for tomorrow night, plus had some raw shrimp in fridge .. so dinner menu has changed.
I'm getting ready to saute the chicken breasts, shrimp & mushrooms in teriyaki and wine .. served over a crisp garden of greens, carrots, water chestnuts, cherry tomatoes & bean sprouts.
Choices of Vingerette, Bleu Cheese, Honey Mustard or Italian dressing. Honey Mustard would probably be best with teriyaki chicken .. what do you think?
Later for now .. I have to get into the kitchen. 🙂
Well, IF I was a chicken lover, I'd pick Italian dressing. Then again, since it's teriyaki chicken, I'd pick Vingerette..it has that spicy & sweet taste that'll match an exotic light-meat dish. I've NEVER tasted it on chicken, but it kicks ass & nuts on slightly grilled steak-fish.
