Masochistic streak meets saviour complex. It's complicated when a lot of darkness gets mixed in with the love and it can be hard to disentangle oneself until the toxicity has all but destroyed it, IME. When that time comes I generally have no problem though, even though by all accounts I should have relinquished the tie far earlier.

Have you tried to end it? Is he coaxing you back when you attempt this or have you not ventured to try just yet?

I have said good bye before but never could stick to it. So i am thinking he doesn't believe my goodbye so no not really he isnt trying to coax me back in this time.I did just tell him yesterday that I no longer want to keep in touch with him. So imthinking he is just honoring my wishes or he just could care less. He is a Libra and I will probably stir clear away from Libras next go round lol.

Don't know if it's a Pisces thing or more a female thing. I think when in a relationship we focus on our partner and we lose sight a little of who we are. We make that person our universe and central in all that we do and when we realize that the relationship no longer work out we still hold onto it through fear of the unknown, guilt, loneliness and fear of starting over and all the what if's. It's even more difficult when you've been in a long relationship, letting go is even harder because I think it's an emotional crutch thing. It's the thought that it's better the devil you know. Good Luck, whatever you decide.. Hoping all the best and hope it turns out well for you.

Thank you so much for the soothing advice 🙂 I am pretty much looking for this to be over though. It is definitely a need for it to be over.

Not Fish, but a Poppa Fish told me when I was little that a relationship is like a scale.
happiness in one bowl, sadness the other. If happiness outweighs sadness, or is fairly even..stick. If sadness and tears outweigh happiness, it is time to let go.
My words a bit softer, but message the same.

I really like this 🙂It use to be more happiness but now it isnt anymore. Its just time to let it go. I have already told him. Its the NOT looking back thats the hardest to do 😢

In my experience, when a fish wants out...nothing would stop them. Are you SURE you want to walk away from him. I know a few Fish/Scale marriages that are working beautifully. It does take patience and chart placements can help or hinder.

I am actually living with my Pisces bf and am a Libra.

Sorry not a therapist MissD312, but where did the happiness go? Most relationship takes work, it can't be that all consuming passionate love it was at the start of the relationship. God knows, I myself sometimes wish that I could rewind back the hands of time and take my relationship back to that stage and keep at that stage 🙂. As people gets older, our needs and wants changed. I used to work as a waitress when I was in my late teens during my time off from university and there was this old couple (late 80's) who used to come in once every week, the old gentleman would escort his wife to a table (same table every week), pull the chair out for her to sit and then returns and sit himself down. The love and devotion he gave his wife made me smile and it was something I aspire to hopefully find myself one day. They've been married sixty something years and they said the secret was to keeping the romance alive and having a date night once a week and never take things for granted. They said it was hard but they made the effort and it was so heart warming to see that it really made my night when I see them. It was soo sweet and adorable. Anyway I digress but hopefully you may want to look at that as an example and see whether there is hope in salvaging your relationship before you decide to let go for good.

No I don't want it to be over but I know if I don't let it go he will just continue to drag my heart. I am still feeling sad but the feelings come and go. I love him dearly he just will not do right. He takes full advantage of my feelings for him. Its not fair. So I need to let go.

While going through a break-up, you need to do everything you can to stimulate your funny bone.

Go to a stand up comedy hour, watch a funny movie, call a friend who is funny.

Whatever you do, keep positive.

Try not to sit around your stuffy apartment, and definitely don't be Mikey.

Look at what you have, don't look at what you don't have.

I have been there before sweet lady. and it is the biggest fight inside of me when I can't let go of someone, and I know better I should let go.

But now that I am older, I have no energy to put up with anyone, I just say efff- it. And I turn cold, Adios, see ya never.

This feeling is the worst feeling. I am trying hard to say audios. I don't know why its so hard! Although I haven't been talking to him I still think about him everyday all day 😢
