Wishing it was so easy to just let go. When you know that a relationship isnt worth holding on to why is it so hard to just let it go? Is it just the fish(Pisces)in me?

Masochistic streak meets saviour complex. It's complicated when a lot of darkness gets mixed in with the love and it can be hard to disentangle oneself until the toxicity has all but destroyed it, IME. When that time comes I generally have no problem though, even though by all accounts I should have relinquished the tie far earlier.
Have you tried to end it? Is he coaxing you back when you attempt this or have you not ventured to try just yet?

Don't know if it's a Pisces thing or more a female thing. I think when in a relationship we focus on our partner and we lose sight a little of who we are. We make that person our universe and central in all that we do and when we realize that the relationship no longer work out we still hold onto it through fear of the unknown, guilt, loneliness and fear of starting over and all the what if's. It's even more difficult when you've been in a long relationship, letting go is even harder because I think it's an emotional crutch thing. It's the thought that it's better the devil you know. Good Luck, whatever you decide.. Hoping all the best and hope it turns out well for you.

I agree with all of the above. Good analysis; good advice.
IMO? Definitely Pisces.

Not Fish, but a Poppa Fish told me when I was little that a relationship is like a scale.
happiness in one bowl, sadness the other. If happiness outweighs sadness, or is fairly even..stick. If sadness and tears outweigh happiness, it is time to let go.
My words a bit softer, but message the same.

In my experience, when a fish wants out...nothing would stop them. Are you SURE you want to walk away from him. I know a few Fish/Scale marriages that are working beautifully. It does take patience and chart placements can help or hinder.
I am actually living with my Pisces bf and am a Libra.click to expand

I have been there before sweet lady. and it is the biggest fight inside of me when I can't let go of someone, and I know better I should let go.
But now that I am older, I have no energy to put up with anyone, I just say efff- it. And I turn cold, Adios, see ya never.

While going through a break-up, you need to do everything you can to stimulate your funny bone.
Go to a stand up comedy hour, watch a funny movie, call a friend who is funny.
Whatever you do, keep positive.
Try not to sit around your stuffy apartment, and definitely don't be Mikey.
Look at what you have, don't look at what you don't have.
