is this pisces man not interested?

Im an aries girl with pisces rising. i texted this pisces guy i like, to tell him that i have the textbook he wanted and we ended up having a long conversation. He was the first guy i have ever met in my life who would reply in long paragraphs, he seemed like a very very sweet guy and i figured that i want to know him more. i asked him if he still wanted the book he said "hell yes" and i told him to message me whenever he is free so i can give him the book and if he'd like, we can hang out afterwards for a bit (my way of wanting to get some alone time with him). he said yes and that he would probably message me on tuesday. tuesday came and he messaged saying that he pulled an all nighter and was sleepy so he went home and asked he said "i will grab the book off you on thursday? " i told him that it is all good he should get some rest and that i have class on thursday plus a birthday party to go to. he has not opened the message and it is saturday and i havent heard from him still.. is he not interested?

I feel a bit insecure about the whole thing because i am afraid i came off too strong

He never made any kind of move to suggest he wants to hang out with you, and he certainly didn't give any sign suggesting he's interested in you.

The thing is when i didnt know him, he used to make lots of eye contact with me and stare, which i thought was weird. Also in class when i was talking to the guy next to me i noticed he was staring and listening to us. But he also showed that he cared about me and that's what got me interested in him even though he may just be this nice to everyone. He actually made an effort to calm me down and then asked if i was feeling any better hence why i thought i should return the favor by offering him the book.

I get where you are coming from. I should not assume that he is interested until he tells me so. Part of me was hoping to get to know him better.
