Life altering intuition experiances

Waterbaby shared one of hers so now it's time for everyone else so s/he not left out.For my own it was similar to hers only it was a dog with cancer and the eyes sent out the feelings of pain,suffering,the I don't want to do this anymore but understand and am willing to stay for them messages.The owners didn't want to put him down.The lesson in it was realizing how petty people are.So there is my psycho moment so bash away or whats yours.

Everyone probably knows the following but I remember my father thought it to me and it's so true -

I walked a mile with happiness,
She chatted all the way,
But left me none the wiser
For all she had to say.

I walked a mile with sorrow,
Not a word said she -
But oh the things I learnt
When sorrow walked with me.

Life is for living and living to the fullest every day as happy as we can be but it's when the pain and sorrow set in - then we are forced to grow, change and ultimately will come out wiser.

My biggest life altering experience came from when my husband found me and wove a blanket of security around me and then just held on tight and never let go. Because of him, I'm alive today.

I remember once coming home from a nite of passion with a mr. cap and looking in the mirror - the make-up was all askew - gone with the wind!!! but I did look radiant and the cheeks (on my face!!) were oh so flushed...I thought to myself so that is what love does to you.........it really does make you beautiful.......remember that everyone - it really does make you feel and look beautiful...forget your facials, forget your moisturisers...forget your botox,.....nites of white satin....and passion make you beautiful.......

You are very romantic, Alana. If everyone could see through your eyes, the world would truly be a better place (and apparantly the world needs it right now). I don't use any of those things, meaning creams, make-up and stuff. What you see in the natural form is what you get.

My husband is Virgo and therefore a lover of the natural person. He loves me and tells me sweet things all the time. If I am any of those things, it's for him and because of him. He is my world, 23 years later, we still hold onto each other and are each other's best friends.

I'll bet if you looked at the other cheeks, they were blushing too, lol. Isn't it wonderful to feel that way? He just rocks my whole world.

I do tend to wear make-up alot myself........funnily enough Mr. Virgo hates it....in the beginning he used even try get a towel and try wipe my face clean..always said he prefers the natural Alana without the mask!!!! Plus complains all the time about me dirtying his pillow-cases etc. and clothes......I say to him....aren't you a lucky guy for me to have left a mark on you!!! even it's it only my make-up mark - lots of guys would die to have that:-) - he just puts his eyes up to heaven!!! In the morning now, if I am putting some on, he comes with a towel and puts it across the bed so that I won't dirty the flamin' quilt!!!!

So glad that you and your husband are still so much in love and in tune with each other......I bet if he was ever to read your posts about him, he'd be a-blushin' big time too:-)
