i agree too; sometimes their ego's & pride (are) more important, than what is 'right' or 'just', or 'the truth.' Sometimes the truth doesn't even matter anymore. It just seems some people don't like peace, even if it was handed to them on a silver platter. Sometimes it truly does takes a bigger person to just walk away, and 'think' for themselves, and admit there must be a better way. 'too much ego and pride can sometimes blind.'
I have to agree, I am too noticing the win at all costs, I was brought up believing that if you cheated and won, you've not won anything, but this seems to be fast disappearing.
"There is a big difference between struggling against insurmountable odds for a righteous cause that one believes in and fighting just to be stubborn and prideful."
There is grate difference between false belief and real belief. False belief is usually fueled by ego and pride. Real belief is fueled with partial facts, perhaps the most amount of available facts. People cannot see false belief sometimes. Why? They can't think logically. They cant look at themseleves.
" "Instead of finding the truth and agreeing with it for their OWN sake, they choose to oppose."
This is waaay tooo vague, one way or another. Be specific."
Truth lies within facts. We don't know truth for the most of the times. Because the information that society usually brings to us is wrong. People 99% of time judge others according to this false information. And they become victims of it themselves almost all the time. Realising this leads one to seek for true knowledge and bend if necessary. The ones who just stubbornly try to "overshout" you, are both useless to themselves and to others.
" "You can win only if you know the truth."
The truth is a matter of perception isn't it? My truth isn't your truth and visa versa. "
I don't belive truth is a matter of perception.
