I don't know about everyone else, but sometimes I feel like I am just aimlessly heading through life, just paying the bills.

As for what makes me happy, whatever it is, I'm not doing it. Why, because I keep changing my mind every day or so.

Is this a Pisces trait or is it just me?

Freebird .. you're crushing on Haffo, aren't you? I don't blame you .. he's amazing.

"What makes you happy?"

Many things .. when my grandchildren giggle, my family's bellies are full to the brim with food, the Wren's that come back every year to build their nest on my porch, the twinkle in my husband's eyes when he feels content and happy, a warm snuggly blanket, the memory of my family members who passed before me, reading a good book, watching my dogs give each other a bath, eating ice-cream .. the list is forever, for everything in my life makes me happy.

Skin .. I think that the reason WHY you are feeling this way is because you have this notion that happinesss is suppose to be brought on by a specific thing or person. You said, "I feel like I am just aimlessly heading through life" .. there isn't just ONE path to walk down .. to experience growth, there has to be many avenues to explore and this doesn't make it "aimless", it means you're allowing yourself the freedom to embrace many different moments.

Personally, I'd rather have many things and people to enjoy and call it "aimless" ..
Than to lock myself into ONE thing or person and call it "found".

Good continued health for myself and for those that i love and care about. Just seeing others, i love being 'happy', which only makes me happier. Finding the deeper meaning and mysteries of life...'and there are so many.' Also, having a certain about of freedom, control and privacy, solitude and peace in my life..

Here's an interesting quote:

To understand aimlessness, one has to define aimlessness. Simply stated, aimlessness is the lack of courage and conviction to make a commitment. People that are aimless and have no convictions are people who are not willing to fight for a cause. People who have no cause worth fighting for are people without passion.

Haffo ---- YOU calling me a "fool?" LOL....

Actually, in all due respect - you really cannot make a "judgement" of me since you don't really know me. I just "appear" to you to be whatever you choose to see me.

I am the BIGGEST practical joker around - I find life to be very humourous...and I LOVE it 😉

I am HUMAN....hear me "roar!"

love ya, Haffo :-)

LOL Freebird.

I was calling typical Aries foolhearted. It doesn't necessarily mean you. Every sign has it's own negative sides and this one is for Aries.

LOL

Thank you for your comments. I will settle into my hap-hazard and sometimes 'aimless' wandering through life and enjoy the ride, wherever it may take me.

I guess my happiness comes from making other people smile, so I will continue to enjoy doing this, but I will stop occassionally to smell the flowers.
🙂
