Pisces woman dating Leo man help

Ok. So I dated this guy for almost 4 months and because it's not easy for me to be intimate outside of monogamy I felt that it wasn't fair to keep giving up the "goods" without an official commitment with him. He told me I was the only person he was taking seriously and that he needs at least 6 months to get to know a woman before being committed(he's been hurt before by his ex who cheated). I thought that was bullcrap because "how does someone know how long getting to know someone takes?" . Anyway, I felt like we were getting closer because I would spend the night and he would take me to breakfast and we'd spend the day together once a week. He thought that we should've spent at least 2 days a week together(to get 2 know each other). I couldn't see him twice a week because of work though.

After almost 4 months of dating, I told him I couldn't do this anymore because he wasn't ready for a relationship. He said "I'll miss you" but didn't even respond to the relationship part. Strangely, I think I hurt him because I think he feels I "gave up" on him.

I know my story sounds complicated but can any Leo men or pisces women give some advice?! Will he ever come back or at least keep in contact? Will he really miss me like he said? What should I do?
