Posessed or just schizo?

Hi everyone.

I am 20 years old and i have a question that I'm kind of ashamed to ask -

Have you, or do you know anyone who has experiences the feeling of having to share their lives with some demon?

Look, I kind of believe in spirits, especially evil spirits, as I have felt myself getting grabbed and tapped by my shoulder as a child. And now I have these voices inside my head that are just not me, whatever the regular psychiatrists say. I just can't agree with the idea of those being me.

Something is trying to destroy me. Trying to get me to kill myself all the time, finding new ways to try to make it happen. I know I sound crazy.

I just want to become pure and myself, not having to share this life being someone I'm not. Something keeps me from being truly me.

I have a Scorpio rising with Pluto in Saggitarius 1st house.

I don't know what to do. I literally feel like I'm watching my life flash by in a cage, a cage made of demons and powerlessness.

Oh and praying doesn't really help because I just can't get myself to believe in God for some reason.

I believe in spirits good and bad too, but I think you're thoughts seem to be a risk to your life, and you should probably stick with real professional advice and treatment. Voices are generally a symptom of some kind of warped view of reality..it must be pretty frightening for you. I'm sure nothing is trying to make you end your life....please don't x

schizo is a mental health issue. You should start taking cbd oil asap.

Lots of promising data showing it has some great results.

There is a very distinct line between mental illness and demon possession.

The two are mutually exclusive problems which plague mankind.

Despite all of the lies from "scientists" in the mental health community, demon possession is very real.

I would suggest you seek the counsel of a priest, to see if someone would be interested in evaluating your case further and determine if an exorcism is necessary.

PS.... I actually considered becoming a priest when I was younger, but the only line of work that I had a passion for was exorcisms. The profession of the exorcist is truly in keeping with the command of Jesus Christ when it comes to vanquishing evil spirits.

I hope you can get help, because evil is real and it must be destroyed.

Stay away from that stuff if you want to live. Stay away from Satanism and demonic forces because they will destroy you if they feel like you are playing with them. Some aren't all demons. Visiting graveyards and burial grounds can bring these spirits with you. They want you to commit to them and you did something to invite them in.

You have two options.

1.) Stop being afraid of them, this will let them know they cannot do anything to you because you refuse to give permission.

2.) Or, do what they want and become their rag doll. Doing this they will make you destroy everyone close to you and then kill you if you don't know what you're doing.

Don't take advantage of them or they will kill you. It sounds so ridiculous to people who haven't gone through it-- but this stuff is real and I found out the hard way. Good luck.

I believe mental illness is real, as well as demons. Imagine how fucked up it would be if u had both. I would prioritize taking care of the demons first. Read religious texts that deal with the stated topic.

Do as I say, not as I do

You may have bad spirits following you around or having schizo.

I myself heard to voices (non threatening) that made me think i was going to be taken into the spirit world, visions and voices, dark forces trying to take me.

But soon as i consulted with my psychiatrist and took the schizo pills, they all vanished.

So it may do good for you to see a psychiatrist.

so I just realized something while reading this thread - I was going to say of course go see a Priest but why is it that only Priest's do exorcisms and/or believe in this stuff. I was raised United Methodist and although I'm not a church goer now, I only know "Ministers" as we called them and I don't believe they would help in these situations. Does anyone know why this is ?

Thank you - I didn't know the extent; the numbers of possession - seems to be more in the European countries ? rather than the US but I'm not sure of all the other countries as well - I would look into it further but I tend not to want to get too close to that stuff. I seemed to be getting drawn or sucked in as a child and I knew it and put a stop to it by deciding to stay in the light. I've been able to maintain all these years and never want to get to close and go there again.

Europe is a pretty conservative place with odd and weird customs. I was also surprised how common this actually is. And I totally get your point about wanting to keep your distance. I think it can taint you if one digs too deep into a subject matter. A while ago I had a Marie Kondo Moment and got rid of all my esoteric and new agey books.... I wanted them out of my house. They served their purpose.

I'm here again, with another account because I forgot the password.

My God, thank you all so much for the insightful replies from both ends of the coin.

Good (as in handy) to know for you that I've been in therapy since literally when I was one year old.

Some helped, the ones which positively enforced me were the strongest for me, on the contrary to the ones that hammered on the fact that there was something wrong with me.

The last 3 years I've been hospitalized in asylums for about 4 times. The last one was an antroposophical place that focused on awakening the strong part of the client, instead of just making you numb with medication. Very good place, not that it has to do with the topic, sorry. Haha.

I take both of the points of views here seriously and consider them too, skeptical of some ofcourse.

But what makes me have doubts about whether the scientific and supernatural is what's going on, is the fact that (science folks I recommend you to skip this part, wink wink) I went to the highest ranked psychic in my country - and she said that I've indeed been posessed one year (I completely find solace in this because when I look at pictures of myself I don't recognize myself, I had evil in my eyes, my whole face was different, I was agressive against the very people I love with all of my heart etc.)

And that I am incarnated to help bring peace to the world. If this is true, I can fully understand what would be going on - evil forces working together with the evil in the world, that try to prevent me from being a "threat".

I completely agree though with the people here that say that the short-term remedy is anti psychotic medication. I take them now, even though I'm against them, and because my parents were almost forced to give them to me as a very young child and they always refused (thank God). I believe medication is not the remedy/cure. It should only be a temporary solution in my opinion.

There should be a way to overcome this all, in small steps.

I don't really know what else to say. Just thank you people.

I must admit that the way I'll fight this by speaking to the psychic again and asking for advice, and at the same time remain in treatment with the regular institutions to remain grounded.

I'd have to say that my mentality in this is still that if I just use meds and nothing else, I won't come to the core of the problem - so I can solve/win from it.

What do your parents think about what's going on? Do they listen to the spiritual side?

You know what, you seem like a really cool girl, honestly. I’m just impressed that while you obviously have a certain set of beliefs, you are still able to take on board other viewpoints. I think that’s a skill a lot of people find incredibly difficult and it shows humility and a willingness to learn. You are absolutely correct that medication is unfortunately not the be all and end all of treatment. If only it were that easy! It is a helpful temporary tool to chill the voices/impulses a little while, while you work at your health in other ways.

Now I can’t claim to believe that you have been possessed. I don’t and I’m grateful you haven’t taken offence at that because I certainly don’t mean any by it. But I do know that yoga, meditation and careful attention to what you are putting in your body can do incredible things. I personally believe it to be a trick of brain plasticity, but however you frame it mindfulness and healing mantras have been shown to be effective in ways that absolutely reaffirm the age old wisdom of prayer like positive affirmation activities.

I truly believe that educating yourself on your condition will help you with some of the powerlessness you mentioned feeling sometimes. And those Oliver Sacks books are a genuine brill read I promise. But the main thing is to focus on positivity. If there is bad you must not give it attention. You are a good person. You sound like a kind person. You sound like a discerning and intelligent person. Don’t let the bastards grind you down 😉😂 you can do it! 👍
