Possibly Maybe

I am a Cancerian female who has a Pisces friend. We have been friends a little shy of a year. He got out of a relationship about 5 months ago. We are passively flirty with one another. I feel like he is intrigued by me and he always wants to make plans with me. And he gives the best compliments, ever.

Anyway, I am not sure how to follow through with this. Us crabs side step around the issue when we are unsure. I feel like he moves forward, and when I respond positively he backs away. I know that his last relationship lasted 3 years and he was bummed over it. I am not saying that we would get into a relationship, but I would like to test the waters, just not too sure on how I should with this one.

Suggestions?

Sounds like he likes you but he still may not be 100% ready and that is why he shies away. He also may be thinking he wants to be single and try out the dating scene but still likes you but may think you will want a relationship. I know I got out of a marriage and it took some time for me. Mine was 8 years though so I was very gun shy at first. I am now dating but I don't want to be in a relationship yet but I hate hurting people's feelings so I kind of back away sometimes even if I like the man b/c I don't want to get too close. In some cases I don't want to really date them but I don't know how to say it to them. I can be a mess sometimes....lol.
I would say that you should just continue being his friend and doing things with him and let it happen naturally and in it's time. He will make the move when he feels comfortable with it. I am not saying to not let him be aware that you like him though. I know that as a Pisces woman I need reassurance here and there....lol.
