Shock Value

I am wondering.... is it a Pisces thing to say certain things just for the shock value of it coupled with finding out how the other person will respond?

My Pisces says some of the strangest things sometimes! I swear he's either doing it to test my limits, to see if I will freak out, or to see how I will respond.

It can be anything from bringing up truly devious sexual acts to a strong opinion about women's make-up to mentioning something about gender roles.... and then other things like an unpopular viewpoint of a current event and so forth and so on....

I am never truly offended (even if I may joke that I am) and I would suspect it in jest, but I think he's doing it with a hint of deviousness. Or, could it be, that sometimes he's testing the waters to see if he could actually HAVE a actual conversation about these topics in the light in which he's presented it?

So fishies, is this a Pisces thing?



P.S. I have an affinity for the odd conversations in life so don't read this as my being offended by him or upset.... I am just truly wondering.... do you guys like to see how much you can get away with saying? Or is it a way to test the waters?

Most of the time when I say things that are 'shocking', it is because I'm that willing to entertain any, and all possibilities.

I guess it all depends on the tone and topic matter as to whether or not it's shock value-esque and pushing your buttons.

I do this a lot to my Scorpio boyfriend.. Just to see what he will say. Usually he says nothing -.-

Sometimes I say mean-ish comments to him.. But it's only because I want him to defend himself, his opinion.. He doesn't find this entertaining, nor does he defend. I think he is starting to understand my little game though..

I really don't realize it until I've already made the remark though...

Can I blame it on my rising?

^If you cant blame it on another person, which Pisces typically do, then why not..blame it onl your rising. As long as you never blame it on being a Pisces its arlight, isnt it? 😛 Its hard to look at yourself in the mirror I guess.

I really like to ask questions that I already know the answer to just to see of the other person knows the answer...

There's always a context to what I say, it's not out of the blue usually. If you pay attention to the days before or even just before I say it, you'll easily spot where it came from. Nothing surprises this Pisces more than if you can follow my ideas and remember what I told you.

The weird questions are sometimes just thinking out loud, you'll get an idea of what's going on in the attic. You can ignore it and it'll pass, or you can respond. Either one is fine 🙂

I think this is why they all do...I can tell they are trying to evoke some emotion out of the other person.

I just meant the part where I say things without thinking, blamed on my Sag rising.

The testing and saying weird crap? Very Pisces.

We are talking astrology here. Without astrology I could look in the mirror and realize my flaws are all mine.
