Water Whammy
We were platonic friends until recently. The main issue is communication, especially when it comes to this person expressing what they think or feel about me. Originally I wasn't aware this person had interest in me until they showed it out of the blue. I showed interest back but since then they seem to waver in and out of being open and then clamming up. I've been patient but I don't understand the way they are communicting themselves to me and would like to handle the situation with finesse. I don't want the fact that because we have now stepped between the awkward middle of "do we or don't we" date, that our friendship doesn't suffer for it.
I'm very sensitive to how this person views, thinks, or feels about me now that I know they have some sort of feelings for me, but I don't know how to help them understand where I'm coming from better or vice versa. It's hard watching them trying to make up their mind about "us" when all I want is for them to be happy and comfortable.
