FE .. I think about it all the time, the "why"'s of being here and what happens afterward is a very strong driving force within me.

As of now (which I'm on a spiritual journey, so this could change) ..

I believe that the spirit and the soul are two different consciousnesses, which would explain why we have this intelligence, all this knowledge that tells us we should know better about religious stuff, and yet .. there is the unexplainable faith that is strong and pulls on us no matter what our brains tell us. They come from TWO DIFFERENT entities within us .. so, therefore that's how we have the awareness of both, yet, they are completely seperate.

Well, the soul is corrupt, contemptuous because the creator god is corrupt .. and these souls are falling deeper into the abyss .. bodies were created for these souls, so that spirits could descend down, occupy our bodies that house these corrupt souls with the intention of lifting the souls and attempt to heal them.

So, my conclusion is: We were born to try and save these souls, we (spirits) were incarnated into souls who live on this earth no matter if they have bodies or not (ghosts). When our bodies die, our souls remain on the earth plane where they belong, and our spirits ascend back onto the Universal Grid, where they belong. The soul was created in evil, it will live in evilness .. spirits come to attempt to salvage us and bring us to a place of peace.

Well I basically share the same thoughts as SP - life gives us moments - the hear and now, life gives us breath and what we choose to do with these moments will define our experience here on planet Earth. Personally I do not think about the "after life" for it takes me away from living in the moment where I am right now. I also believe that we create our own heaven or hell by the choices that we make in each moment - life does not create us, we create life.

For myself, death doesn't mean dead and gone, in the bigger sense. I always felt the term, *passed on or over* much more accurate than *DEAD* humans pass on - stepping on a cockroach, now that's dead & gone!..lol Seriously, no one is truly dead if they believe in the 'spirit, soul, etc.' We may move on to another kind of existence, or our spirits may reincarnate back to this earth plain, for whatever reason, once again.. As in *Full circle, no real beginning, no real end .. only life/eternity on different levels..

'Death is not the greatest loss in life. The greatest loss is what dies inside us while we live.' ~Norman Cousins

Wow!! this is a great thread.........and being a person with Sun in the 8th house
I always think about death and rebirth and why are we here? all the time.....I'm not personally afraid of death........I have actually witnessed someone passing away in front of my eyes as a kid( I was 8-9 years old).....this person was having an asthma attack and not doing so good...she left......but the ambulance came on time and well she is alive and well now

I think Spachtel Prugel said it so beautifully and it's also what I also feel......Life is memories and what you make of it........I also think it can be heaven or hell based on your choices also.....I also believe we come back as other people but with lessons learned based from this life.

these are some of my posts from my blog .........most are related to life, death, spiritual awakening
