When you come back after swimming away

You had unrealistic expectations from the beginning .. that is why when he didn't "act" accordingly, you were confused.

Now, he isn't doing anything except contacting you .. and once again, you think it's suppose to mean something more than it does.

He prob just wants to talk...take it one day at a time. It's hard to tell why pisces drift away and come back...the reasons are limitless.

like let*it*be said just take it as it comes or just let it go and don't contact him...he will sense resentiment if it's there and he will go.

Is this the same guy you only had two dates with from the beginning of the month? If so, either absorb what he's giving you now and enjoy it, or if you hold resentment, walk away, because he'll sense it and swim away.

I was thinking the same thing...I have a Pisces pal that reached out to a Taurus ex whenver he felt wounded and feared lossing his current lover. The Taurus lady always boosted his perception of himself. He would reach out to her for months until she finally was rude enough for him to let her be.

What I did not understand is if she made him feel mthat good about himself why leave her in the first place. I always thought Taurus women and Pisces men were supposed to be a good match. Go figure

The Taurus women/Pisces male is a hit or miss. Common interests are HUGE because if you don't agree with a Taurus they usually won't change their mind, they'll just think you have bad taste/judgment hahaha... It's crucial, especially in the beginning, for the Pisces guy to be emotionally stable and super charming (though that attitude will work for attracting most signs in general).

Obviously, you weren't paying attention to her situation .... why aren't I surprised about that?

From the beginning, by her own admission .. she was withdrawn from him, and never approached him, while remaining hopeful that he would put forth all the effort in coming to her. Which he did a couple times. She did nothing to show him that she wanted him, or cared.

So in reality .. she gave him no attention for him to miss.

Just leave it alone. By "it" I mean your over thinking what his talking to means so that it becomes you exaggerating his interest in you to the point that you begin to have unrealistic expectations of him again.

Reading these forums I feel as if I've heard it over and over again - when a Pisces is interested in someone they make the effort to talk to them. Its as simple as that. He doesn't owe me anything, I'm not saying he was mine, Im not saying I am disappointed in this fact, it was just confusing that he disappeared and came back. When someone knows what they want, or in this case don't want, I'd assume they would just leave things be. That is where the confusion came from.

I do want to talk to him, he's a wonderful person and an extremely interesting male as well. I'd love to be his friend. I messaged him Thursday night and he didn't get back to me until the morning (his phone died) and we had a conversation. When he messaged me again he said we should talk more so I'm not scared of annoying him due to the suggestion, so I felt okay messaging him.

One thing I find funny is the little fibs they tell. (my girlfriend does this). His phone died! It doesn't take three days to charge it. There was another reason he waited to respond. Not to say it was necessarily bad but not because his phone died. He probably wasn't ready to respond for whatever his reasons were. He's probably trying to figure out in his head what he wants out of his relations with you.

Quite possible. I messaged him Thursday night and he got back to me early Friday morning. People's phones die when they're out, and I did message him at night, so it is possible. However, the message did deliver (I have a Blackberry) to his phone so either he didn't want to start a conversation with an almost dead phone, it died after I sent it to him, or he simply just did not feel like speaking. When he messaged me the next morning he apologized for the whole phone situation and I said "Haha no worries! This stuff happens right. Hope you've been well and that your night was great!" to which he replied and asked about my plans for the weekend and our conversation started from there.

They just like to respond when they are ready. You can learn this is what he will sometimes do but you'll never know what runs through his mind as the reason.

Why do you come back? Is it out of loneliness, a lost conquest and a consequent shift in attention again, a realization that you want to talk again or see that person again, a way to keep them around even if you don't know what you want.

I think my friends and loved ones find me frustrating, and I feel bad about this...

I just think pisces need a lot of time to themselves.

I get that. The Pisces I talk to will ignore my request to chat but we will email back and forth for hours instead. We sent 100 messages back and forth one night but he won't text or chat. It's just something I accept because it's his way. The antics of Pisces always make me chuckle...it's endearing.

I doubt he was trying to gain some time in regards to what he wanted to say, when I replied saying it was fine and that those things happen he just asked about my weekend plans. So I doubt he was too shy to ask that! Hahah.

I messaged him "Hey workaholic!" Maybe he thought that was too flirty and wanted to bring me down a level so he just took his time to ensure I knew I was just a friend. Some people get weirded out by how enthusiastic I sound sometimes. Who knows, I'm sure in the end he was simply just too busy to talk to me or didn't want to speak to me. Either way, I shouldn't overanalyze that.
