Why contact my after vanished for 7 months?

this Pisces guy that I was madly in love with.. broke up with me over a text 7 months ago
didn't explain why.. and just vanished from this world.
I did ask him to talk in person after that text, and he agreed to meet me, but totally stood me up.
No showing up, no phone call, no text..
He completely crushed me and I lost 5 lbs becuz of him..
but I realized he's gone for real, so I did not contact him once.. I let him go

Now I'm very happy with my new Cancer guy, and think I'm falling for him
But out of the blue, Pisces guy text me yesterday asking how am I doing.. WTF?
(He wished me happy new year last month also, but I didn't reply him)
I feel so annoyed and pissed.. what is he trying to do now?

oh.. don't get me wrong. I have no intention of wanting him back nor replying his text.

My heart was broken into pieces but I know he's gone for good, so I cut him off. I deleted his number and all our pictures together..

because I saw another girl went into his place few days after the break up.. so I left

Anyway.. I'm here not because I still have feelings for him.. (maybe I do if HATING is one of them)
