you're over complicating a situation that is very simple. perhaps....he just wants to know for the sake of knowing...any other reason than that, is irrelevant in my opinion....

I kinda moved on from a guy who didn't want a relationship with me because he wasn't giving me his full attention- I felt like I was sharing him anyway.
