lol! if you mean qbone, i think he has some good points but he's acting as if american's don't wrestle with these issues ourselves.

the reality is, there are people arguing for the same things that q suggested and they are patriots.

you have people like pat buchanan who think our allegiance to israel is flawed. ron paul who argues against the federal reserve. both believe that we need to bring all troops, worldwide, home. and there are those who argue against teachers unions to allow principles to fire educators who aren't performing. if teaching were treated like a business, then children in poverty stricken areas would be getting better educations and with that, comes upward economic mobility. the lesson from katrina therefore isn't that people in america shouldn't be poor. you can't have a wealthy class without its opposite.

so the lesson of katrina shouldn't simply be that our government is corrupt and doesn't care about poor people or minorities. it's that people shouldn't be poorly educated. with education comes opportunity and with opportunity comes economic advancement. that and the money allocated for public projects needs to go to the actual projects (levees).

qbone apparently thinks patriotic americans are people sitting around in plush homes, with massive suv's, 2.3 kids, smoking cigars, bbq'ing while saluting the flag, duck hunting and throwing around racial slurs.

now that may be some people's last saturday but for the most part, those of us who love our country, love it in spite of its faults. we love it because we have an inherent belief that injustices will be corrected some day. how/why/when, who knows but americans are perpetual optimists. and that's why qbone hates us. he wants us to be miserable...like he is.

WE ARE A SOCIETY OF LAWS! what is a law but a revocation of a personal freedom? you're bound by our laws every single waking moment of your life. to say that the dems/reps are trying to rob you of some imaginary man-in-wild freedom just shows how utterly ridiculous you are.

in civilized socities we are bound by a social contract. by living in the US you have by default given up personal freedoms in order to maintain peace, order and protect the rights of the whole.

the issue can't be taking away your freedom. you're not free. you never were! where'd you get the notion that you could do whatever you want? are you delusional?

the issue is therefore is taht you're a self-absorbed, paranoid, ill-informed citizen who feels threatened when you're out of power. out of power = out of control.

you don't want an end to democrat rule. you want a dictatorship where you define what laws, taxes, morals...americans should be governed by. and if you can't have that, you want to get rid of the bums right? in short, Q may be a fascist but you're an anarchist.
