i don't think so. but u see he knew it was wrong. but as to equal rights. umm. history tries to make us belive that he was the moderen day openedminded whiteman. but he wasn't he just didn't like slavery. ben franklin. i feel he felt the needed more rights then they were given. Lincoln had more a respect for the country then the people. for he did say America is the last hope for the world. and i belive that trutly in my heart. he knew they were fighting over life style s and he wasn't going to have it. he freed the slaves to piss of the southerners. and that worked. but he wanted and new america was only as good as it's loytaly to its self but there wasn't much of any then. and knew that it was a better time then any to but away the slaves and bring out citzens. think about Sherman brunt the south. war was happening why not losse just a bit more while many things are down anway.
it wasn't until the ww1 that america proved that after fighting the wsar of 1812 and and W1 when we had to save Europes butt. for they got themselves in that mess. for all it counts. is the trteaty of verisais which thought about kings and queens and tradition not about people and clture. which is still the promblem. the facts are we saved there butts and many others and are's in that war and w2. and the vinteanme war was not entierly a mistkae we wanted to stop a huge promblem from happening agian like the WW1 with that. and the gulf was also trying to save prombelms. we realized if no one else would do we would have to. the world right now depneds upon our econmy. our lifestlye. its' scary weight upon any offical. but worse is the peoples hate for the fact we are born to freedom. we can not help our brith. that is out of our hands that's like blaming ur parnets for giving u brwn. hair. stupid innogrant people taught that freedom and our luxiours lifestlye is the cause of there promblems. when it is the popele there that do most of the damage. it's not all the luxiours ethier we have bums and homeless and criples living in the streets. we don't all have so nice. we have it better no matter what due to our rights. thank forfathers and God for such a thing of fate. but antother the war on terriosom and the wars on terriost like ossma and sadam and soon or eventually others. yeah. we are going to attack them first. before they kill us. they attacked first. they killed citzens adn childeren and women like it was nothing. yeah death to america and freedmoms that are an human right due to being by sicenice a homosapeien and being born u have such rights undived and are a human right. it's scary that they hate us for our own rights. but i don't fell a bit bad for attacking ossma or saddam they hurt us first.
Saddam wether the world thinks so or not did have nuckes but destroyed them all. Hmmm...sounds a bit too idealistic to me. Here comes my dark side: Like Bush? We think of him a lot like people thought of Lincoln. Lincoln was average, actually, he just knew how to get at crowds soft-spots; or maybe he just knew what crowds to talk to... At any rate, people didn't much like him, and he started the war to save the union in the first place, which seems to be his chief aim throughout that entire period of his life. Sherman was an extremist from what I've heard, and not many liked him either. I particularly like what I've read of Grant most of all I've read, but almost nobody liked him. He sucked at war. They called him "the butcher" and he was even drummed out of service for drinking before the war...but then, after The Wilderness Campaign in the 1760s people thought Washington's career was tarnished beyond reputation. All this just goes to show you that nothing and no one was more glorious than anyone today, and that a lot of the best people go relatively unnoticed. Read about Emory Upton for a good Civil War personality; or Joshua Chamberlain; or what Lee did at the war's end.

...history, it's all I know and I wish I knew more about it. I personally believe things are cyclical. You should read the book The Fourth Turning or whatever it's called.

I know.. George Washington had wooden teeth. I heard' he died from pneumonia, whilst escaping via a bedroom window & trotting home au naturale' thru the snows, from a married woman's bedroom.

hmmm... first of all, George Washington had ivory teeth, the wooden teeth were just fable. I didn't hear about the other part though lol, i believe you. I also didnt know about Ford either. But I bet you didn't know that Martin Luther King, Jr., when he was shot on the hotel balcony, had another woman other than his wife in that hotel room at the time 😉 and of course, JFK was infamous for all the women and drugs, George W. Bush II was in rehab for cocaine, and Regean consulted astrology to time important dates. Thats all the muckraking...err, I mean, truth telling, I can think of as of now.
