Electoral System

How would you feel if our government's system of electing changed from winner-take-all to proportional representation? Would it make you vote more often? Less often? WHat are your thoughts?

I like winner take all. It's easier, more clear, and better for getting things done.

I think our current method is illogical. I think the most popular candidate should win, pure and simple. *sigh*...Gore is still my President 🙂

I think we should revert back into an anarchy.

I highly disagree, I think laws and such are necessary. Even *with* laws, there is a lot of chaos and unruliness.

What we need to do, is clone judge judy, and put troops of judge judys in every city and county

Nah... I think if we go back to a state of nature, we'll just let all the stupid and violent people kill eachother off, and then the smarter more reasonable people will survive...

But anyway Gwen, consider this: the Smart People will be smart enough to thwart any possible killing sprees the Stupid Violent People might intend to go on, so therefore, if we can just *quarantine* the Stupid Violent People....like put them in a large vat of jello, and then wrap them all in saran wrap, we might survive.

But then, who knows, maybe deep down, I'm a Stupid Violent Person.

In my world,there is no DMV... And you don't need money, if you want something, you can get your saran wrap jello people to get it for you...

While the 'reasonable' people are busy being reasonable, the smarter people are walking all over them, therefore it is smarter to be less reasonable.
