I'm a Virgo female and nearly every guy i've ever dated has been an Aquarius apart from a couple of Scorpio's who i've kind of given up on now. I always feel very attracted to Aquarians, i love the fact that they are different, spontaneous and flirty. I don't mind that they are often distant i think i am a strong individual with a lot of patience for an Aquarian. And yet the astrology sites that i've read say they are not compatible. If there are any Aquarians reading this, what do you think about virgo's? Do you think there compatible?
Can Aquarius and Virgo ever be compatible?
Hi Jenna.
Have you read the posts uder Virgos & Aquas? I am a Virgo in a two month relationship with my first Aqua. It has been extremely challenging, to say the least. I completely read up on his sign very early on and I thought I had a handle on things. I've given him plenty of space, let him spend as much time with his friends as possible, try not to get upset when I don't hear from him for days at a time, and pretty much passed all of the tests that he's thrown at me. I think most Virgos enjoy the beauty of falling in love. With an Aqua you can pretty much throw that out the window because they are very slow to show their true emotions, and if they are in love with you, they will never show it. In fact, they are more likely to act as if they don't like you at all!
Aquas need a ton of freedom, however both Virgos and Aquas are thinkers. This can make for some really great conversation...that is if you both agree on things. If you challenge them, they will always win, however, I think they enjoy it!
Everything I've read says that Virgos and Aquas are sexually compatible, and I can definately attest to this! My Aqua is awesome in bed. They love to try all sorts of things, yet don't make you feel uncomfortable in any way. They will go to every length to pleasure you in every way possible. But don't expect cuddling afterwards...that's just a little too intimate for them and they certainly don't want to give you the impression that they are falling in love.
You are right when you say mostly everything you read says that Aquas and Virgos are like oil and water. But I have read on a few sights that Virgos may be just what Aquas need...someone to keep them grounded...without tieing them down...which is the tricky part.
If you can keep yourself from getting too emotionally involved, then you should be okay. This has been the difficult part for me. I am so in love with my Aqua that I'll do just about anything for him. But it's easy to feel like a "push over". Then I reach a breaking point...usally at a certain time of the month...lol...and I can't help but say something like "I thought you were supposed to call me this weekend". This leads to a big discussion and will make your Aqua guy very uncomfortable and more likely to distance himself even more from you. (continued)

I tried to end it with my Aqua just this past weekend...but he ended up calling me and we had one of those discussions I just mentioned. I am supposed to see him tonight...but then again, he may not call at all. Then, he could call tomorrow and act like nothing happened.
Here's another tip. Most Virgos I know like to make plans...sometimes right down to the very last detail. That's just how we are. Aquas HATE this. They are very spontaneous and like to use the word "maybe" a lot. This drives me completely crazy...so keep that in mind.
On a good note, they are usually only interested in one person at a time. They never get jealous, and hate jealousy in general. So, if you haven't heard from him and are wondering what he's up to (and you know as a Virgo you will be thinking about it constantly and driving yourself crazy!) he is probably just hanging with his friends or enjoying some alone time, which they desperately need. And don't ever try to get them jealous because they just won't care.
Well...I hope all of this helps! The key thing to remember here is "patience". I have to keep reminding myself all the time! They are really unique individuals and just plain awesome to be around, even if it is for a short time. Good luck...and I'll let you know how it goes with my Aqua.

"...I've read says that Virgos and Aquas are sexually compatible..."
i've read this somewhere too, i guess it's almost like a polar opposites attraction because its not quite the full monty we're getting into. both signs can mentally stimulate each other. i've been attracted to aqua men, but i've never dated one.
"If you challenge them, they will always win, however, I think they enjoy it!"
really? they always win? never challenged one before, and if someone can win in an argument against me...let's just say i get hooked, a tad bit 😉.

im dating a Virguy too ( im an aqua) and so far its all roses 😛, i mean we have had a few volconvos coz he hates hanging out with my friends.... he just wants me to hang out with him...hes a Big Baby at times...i neva thought virguys were soo childish but then again hes only 24....anyways...IMO it can work if both of ya are willing to comprimise and make it work... every relationship needs work and this aint any different 🙂.... all the best to ya with ur aqua guy..
o ya and dont belive what all these sites say about aqua/virog compatibility coz im surprised its damn good.....
I'm an aqua-male. The best thing about this coupling- if you just go by on-its-face astrological coupling- is the sex and intellectual stimulation. Personally, I have had no complaints about not showing enough affection or cuddling. I am a big advocate of it. The biggest problem THIS aquarian has had with Virgo is the obsessive need to control that the virgin has. Radical things scare virgos to death. They obsess over everything and radical thoughts/actions/ideas threaten their sense of safety. Sorry guys, but this is the hallmark of the water-bearer and you just have to get used to it. That's why more great inventors, forward thinkers and revolutionaries were aquarians and not virgos. We move forward. We're not stagnant. Life is a romantic adventure to be lived with gusto and ceaseless curiosity(but with a bit of grounded responsibility as well).
Virgos may indeed ground aquarius a bit, but virgos need to allow themselves to break their stuffy ways and be SPONTANEOUS. It's a two-way street. Most virgos I've dated have been this way and it has allowed for a nice harmony. They tell me I liberate them and make them feel "free" and "adventurous". I tell them that they make me feel grounded and comfortable at home. It's a nice thing if it works. The trick is to stop reading Linda Goodman's stereotype-driven stuff about these two signs and treat people as individuals, not signs.

surfleopard:
thanks for your awesome input. you are absolutely right about it being a two way street. i love being spontaneous...but the occasional planned date or two can be great, too. my aqua doesn't want to bend at all. and i am definately not controlling. i would just say something like "hey...why don't we go to a baseball game friday night". and he would say "well...that's two days away...we'll see on friday". it's a little hard to get tickets to something last minute, so it's frustrating for me.
you are also right about reading too much of that stereotypical stuff out there. i know that this guy's actions have less to do with his sign and more to do with the fact that he's just not into me.
but thanks again. if by some chance it still happens to work out for us, i will keep everything you said in the back of my mind. i do feel we could have an amazing relationship...if he's ready for that.

totally with ya on that 🙂
GINZ- No problem, luv. Hope it works out for you. I don't think you're asking too much for a time commitment on a baseball game. If he's being recalcitrant, then you are correct: he ain't into you enough. You don't deserve the crumbs, sweetie. You deserve the meal. Personally, if I'm with someone I jump at the chance to do things with them. I would plan a week in advance to go downtown with her to watch the paint dry on a building. As long as I'm with her, I'm stoked. It's just another opportunity to "win" her all over again, which- in my opinion- a man should do at least once a week.
You deserve no less than a man who has that kind of enthusiasm for you. So don't settle for less.*s*

Compatibility is always possible. However between these two people? Yes however these two are way too different in the way they live their lives and their overall perspective.
