No, not necessarily. I have a Pisces Descendant, but find i amost attracted to Capricorns, Virgos & Scorpios. To be fair though, i don't know the Sun Sign, let alone the Descendant sing of everyone that i might have an attraction to.
It does make sense though since what i read about Pisces Descendant is true for me:
"If Pisces lies on your Descendant, you wish for a romantic partner who is as tuned into the universe's rhythms and to the joy and transcendant possibilities of love as you are. Since you've got Virgo Rising, people often see you as serious and meticulous, as needing to quantify everything and be in control, someone who enjoys being needed; you may seem like the type who views love as way to security rather than as a mystical and exciting experience. When it comes to falling in love, you are at first hesitant, cautious and businesslike, quantifying your potential partner's qualities to discern whether or not they're worth your time. But it's all quite to the contrary once you're intimate with someone; in love you're actually looking for someone with whom you can share intense emotional connections and perhaps a common spirituality, someone who can read your mind and intuit your needs. A mate whose open mind and heart will free you from fears or reservations will make you the happiest."
As a side note, i've also heard that if your Mercury Signs are the same, you will have a very strong attraction to someone. This has also been true for me. Mercury in Capricorn.
Haha!! Too funny gttommy. Although i do actively research this crap, i agree with you ... there are far too many opinions on the subject of attraction. The idea of romantic attraction has been so analyzed and so stretched ... free will to just feel is almost a lost "art form"
I've stated elsewhere that I used to consult my L. Goodman's Sun Sign book each time i started dating someone I was attracted to or attracted to me. It got to be a chore that I analyze people before I would get to know them and run away at the first site of someone I thought was not my type. I mean dating and relationships shouldnt be that hard. Its either a fit or it is not and really you just know. It takes work and what the hell roaming all over the universe with charts acting like resumes? You just know. And if it doesnt float- move on. I generally just keep to sun signs for first impressions. I already know whom I am attracted to by nature and not. Just in general personality and physical attraction and so on, but I am not surprised when I find out they are Aries or Libras attracted to me, or a Taurus, so on. It's really uncanny how we naturally seem to find each other without too much analytical crap. We know what we like and dont like bla blah blah
Anyone find it that your sun sign is way different than your moon or rising?? I am attracted to Aries and Libras seem to seek me out. I am attracted to Taurus and sometimes Scorp's but my Air moon and Leo rising seem to get in the way of clicking with an earth or water sign which technically I am supposed to click with based upon my sun cancer.
Libras i love but some have been too in my face or clingy or insecure which doesnt sit well with the "be your own person and have a life" side of me, and some have been to airy and impatient to sit well with my cancer side that needs to feel secure. I mean Libra would tell me all the time he loved me and then do some heinous action that told me he didnt. I told him I loved him and backed it up with actions and he would say that he loved me and then would say something disrespectful or hurtful. damn was this all supposed to be about Rising signs. Sorry. Off the chart with my Aquarius moon.
Well I do seem to find quite a few virgos...well they seem to find me... I'm a virgo magnet... then I desire someone who is more practical in their ways and stable and organized... like the vigos i know... and to top it off I seem to be more attracted to guys that resemble my father... a virgo... my only itch with them is the criticism and jealousy...
Wonder why you are a Virgo mag. I mean unless your moon or rising is an earth or water sign. I think its typical to find a guy that resembles your dad and its said that guys tend to find chicks that remind them of their mom. (not always practical). The last one did remind me of my dad. Right down to eating all the wrong crap. My dad was a Gem. nicest person ever. It's wierd as the Libra was the first that reminded of my dad (looks and habits only). For the longest I dated tall dark and handsome's that reminded me of my brother. Tho' not tall just tan and handsome. and a Scorp.
Gem's huh? Gem. guys ok, fun and all over the place-never was interested in one-suppose they arent settled enough for me. There was one attracted to me and then months later attracted to my girlfriend (whatever). Aries, ya, I've been attracted to several-never panned out in the dating scene, but they were loads of fun to be around. Sooner or later my Cancer comes out and Aries becomes not my type. Scorps would tend to be more take em or leave em. Is that true? I do love Scorp. men, they're funny and caring, but the one I dated...not to loyal.
My Descendant is Aquarius. Does this mean i'm only attracted to people with they're Sun Sign in Aquarius ?
( it's quite accurate btw. before i interested myself in Astrology, my first girlfriend was a Aquarius ... )
