Recipe for Love

I was having a conversation with my best friend. He is a gay male. He said something so profound. He says the recipe for love is as follows:

Lust Stage Connection
1 - Meet someone you have great sex with.
2 - It becomes a routine of meeting for sex.

Love Stage
3 - You start spending time with them and doing other things than having sex.
4 - You begin to have a care about them and their physical well being.

Compassion Stage
5 - You develop an emotional connection stage filled with compassion for the other and it has nothing to do with the sex.
6 - Best description is it feels very much like your best friend or soul mate type connection.

Do you think it happens this way? I think the order can be changed around.

I don't think there is an order necessarily; they are all key ingredients and while some may be added before others once they're all in the mix you have your recipe 🙂

It is not surprising most women see it from an emotional point; after all most women associate sex with love or emotional bonding.
