Why even have this whole dramatic episode in which rules must be given us ... and one of the rules be referencing the existence of other gods that are available to worship?
For you speak in terms of bible being gospel, god being one .... and only speak in the aspect that the only contemplation to consider is how to interpret both.
I speak from a place where there is no god .. and the bible is fiction.
