i didnt go to church this morning and jeeez i got like 100+ calls and text messages coz everyone is worried about my 'SALVATION'... LOL....

i always enjoyed going to church every sabbath morning but lately coz of their ( church buddies) self-righteousness, i just dont feel like hanging out with them 😢... i mean why cant u be tolerant and accept everyone as they are... why do u constantly have to condemn others and feel good that your church is the only true one and all the others are apostates and wont gain salvation—?

but i have admit, their contantly calling me is frustrating ... i guess im waaaay diplomatic and cant harshly tell them to just 'LEAVE ME ALONE'!!!

wow... but u had like one woman pestering ya... i have like 100s of them and its really not me to offend people and especially when they are older than me....i guess i'll just tell them i need some time alone and ya the bishop will definitely have a word with me coz i teach primary kids at church ( i love them but ..i NEED A BREAKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK from self-righteous people....that is, their parents 😛 )

and i totally agree with ya archer, you can have a personal relationship with God without going to church... yes church is important for certain people ( like the elderly coz u interact with people and its good for health) but u shouldnt become a fanatic and pronounce woes upon those who just are luke-warm or non church goers.. 😛....

i was such a strong christian but the church really doesnt follow christ's teachings coz if they did, they would NEVER pester, pressure and make u feel guilty 24/7.... they wud love ya even if ur an atheist... i mean christ forgave those who crucified him, how can you be his follower if all your doing is condemning everything and everyone under the sun—?....we're taught to love our enemies, and do good to them that hate us for we're all children of the same god....

Hmmm, good topic. I am very spiritual but I'm not religious. I always have people asking "Why isn't that you don't go to church?" And things like ... haha, I think I'm more in touch with the spiritual world then those who preach to me about going to church LOL!!!!!

Most of what I do is a mixture of faith and logic -- because you have to believe in something in order to develop reasoning behind it 😉

I agree with Eliza, bridling your passions is definately not as hard as SOOOO many people make it out to be. LOL, this is why I can wait until I am involved in another relationship because leasing my desires 🙂

Hi eliza!I do agree that we all can have a personal relationship with God but then again Church goin' is important too. We don't go there just to "worship" but to see if someone needs help.. Who know maybe, we are the ones who would need help in the end?!! And who cares abt self-rightoeus people, anyway? Just keep on doing your thing and all will fall into place. At the end who suffers?
