After reading the part that the woman doesn't have an authority on her own body but her husband I'm ready to burn any religious book I find. Extremely angry. Bible doesn't recognize women's rights and that's not fair, simply worse than anything. I'm not here to argue about religion. I do not want to talk about that. And I encourage everyone to avoid any religious discussion. This topic I found got me to the point to think that we don't need religion at all. We are gods of ourselves and our lives, no one else, no almighty person is upon us. You should not listen what the Bible or any other religions book says. Let this kind of stuff be forgotten in our minds. I've never been very devoted Christian and I don't like how Christian teaching treats women. Freaking unfair. Please no discussion about religion, just read what ''some woman'' who might be you or me anytime has to say . Thank you
because the truth is, most men are generally stronger than women in terms of strength and physical power. Not always of course, you're gonna get the odd feminine man, who is afraid of anything.
i know that sounds negative, but it's hard for me to just explain it without some offense.
bible does explain alot of rights for women though.
mostly it's about protecting the woman.
and there are women in the bible who are like Delilah and Jezebel. Bad women.
so we get all kinds.

Yup and just because we need so called "protection" says a lot about christian society and the way they treat women. But the thing is we are not in ancient or post classical era anymore, roles have changed, you see lots of women in military, we do just as much as men, we shouldn't be treated any less, we shouldn't have any less rights than them, this is unfair. We need new teaching, new version of bible, which sees woman as an equal. The man being a head of the family I completely disagree that, having a penis doesn't make you a leader, brain/knowledge and experience does and I've seen lots of successful women smarter than other male versions, stronger mentally and even physically, so anything male oriented just doesn't make sense to me.

Afterlife probably isn't what you say it is. You can't "believe" what you can't prove. And if you still choose to believe there's very good chance you are weak. Religion is based on "violence" and is very good method how to rule the society. Religion doesn't allow you to think, judge and use your own logic, obedience makes you slave and a victim of system.
