Ever been attracted to new boss in interview?

I just finished a grueling 3 hr. interview for a job back in Texas. I met w/ 5 different people in seperate sessions and the 2nd was with a lady that was prolly about 3 or 4 years younger than me. About 10 minutes into my interview w/ her, I just had this realization that OMG, she's hot!!! It was hard to concentrate on what she was saying anymore ... I was like oh shit, pay attention, she might ask another question soon. Then she started using some hand gestures and I got to check out that there was no wedding ring ... sweet!!!

Well, she must have liked me too 'cause I got the job and at the top of the salary range I requested. So, I'm headed back to Texas all of a sudden. This could be good for my career. I'm thinking that I'll be working extra hard to try and impress her.

Oh my goodness. Happened to me about a month. The guy was hot. I kept staring at him and reminding myself to pay attention to what he's saying. I kept staring at the scar on his eyebrow too. I thought it was a good interview, lots of weird pauses and stares though due to the big informality. Fairly good conversation for the most part...but I guess not enough about the job. I didn't get the job. I was pissed because I wouldn't have minded working with him. 😢😛

lol, buttercup ... ya, its too bad I'm in the "soft"ware business. Haha, but I do construction on the side, so maybe I can get her to come over and check out all my tools after work someday ... and of course if she ever needed help driving a nail, I'd be there for her ... I'm just a giver like that you see.

Sorry you didn't get that one Lady_M. I bet you will find something soon if you haven't already. I met a guy in a Dunkin Donuts the morning of my interview and he said to be sure and say, "I really want to join your team" ... or something like that. So, I got that in there. Also he said have 3 written out recommendations to give them ( I didn't have that, but it is a good idea).

I don't know what the future holds, but at the moment I'm really looking forward to working for this girl. There's a chance my position may be organized under another guy that I also interviewed w/, but at the very least I should get to work w/ the girl some also. Knowing I have her to see every day will be great motivation. Haha, probably won't need an alarm clock.

Sorry you are between gigs there Dwelling. For whatever reason, there's nothing to second guess yourself over. Just enjoy everyday and don't be afraid to move on. I know it can be hard especially if bills are piling up. Hang in there.

It's funny, I got my U-haul truck the other day ... I hadn't even started loading it yet, and I just felt happy when I got in it. really really happy!! I have a lot of friends and family that I've been missing back in Texas. The hot boss is just icing on the cake ... haha, as long as I don't end up working like a dog w/ no life.

I had an interview with a boss I thought was the ugliest man in the world, but I developed a crush on him for too long. The guy was married. Nothing happened more than the professional life in between us, but there was this continuous sexual tension. Yes.. my working hours increased even more. The end didn't turn out well though... he turned against me on a new project that he had promised me. It was too much to bear on the emotional department, which I don't mind his decision.

Damn ... she's married, and has a kid too. She just didn't have the rock on her finger during the interview is all. Oh well, she's a great boss so far and is a fun, happy person so I'm still looking forward to working for her.

The place is the coolest ever ... we can wear shorts and t-shirts to work if we want, they have free snacks (good stuff), and some of the guys have been trying to brew their own soda back in the supply room. They got the whole geek/software thing going big time.

I wonder if she is SCORPIO... hmm... no rock, fun, and liberal...

haha, Satori, Satori, Satori ... clearly you don't know me very well. Nah, seriously, messing around w/ the boss seems creepy ... actually there is another attractive girl that sits across table from me but that would be creepy also ... still too close. When I was seeing that Aries, she worked for same company and was married, but at least she worked 2 buildings away and I only had to see her when I wanted too. Btw ... Aries had her baby, very cute and healthy little boy. She goes back to work next month and her office is only couple of miles from my new job 😉 At least I will have a lunch buddy again soon.

Funny thing about my boss ... I think she might be Libra ( B-day sometime in Sept) ... I swear, I can't get away from the Libras!!!
