Vietnam vet, eh? Did he ask you about Woodstock? 😆

lol

No.

You see, I shaved my head, (hair was half-way down my back) went down to motorcycle shop to
check out some bikes and helmets, and this kid was a salesman, there.
The subject came up that he was in the Marine Corps yada, yada, and the subject came up
and what I said above, about him, followed after shootin' the breeze.

Then, today, I go visit my primary and get blood drawn.
The nurse that took my blood didn't know who Rosie The Riveter was, either. She's 64.

You don't need to hear about the doctor. That was a lulu.
For anyone looking forward to Obamacare, you're not going to like it.

Some people aren't interested in history, it seems. Everyday mundane things seems to elude them as well...if it's not in their every day life, it's not worth remembering I suppose

Kind of a sad and barren wasteland...but one doesn't miss what isn't there I guess

:sigh:

It is sad. But not surprising.

You've probably have heard the saying: "They who don't learn from history, are doomed
to repeat it." - George Santyana

You may have also heard the saying: "Doing the same thing, over and over, expecting different results, is insanity." - Albert Einstein

"The difference between stupidity and genius is that genius has its limits." - Albert Einstein

"The schools ain't what they used to be and never was." - Will Rogers

"I bet after seeing us, George Washington would sue us for calling him 'father.'" - Will Rogers

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out how the United States of America fell.
